How many people does it take to scale a mountain? 7 apparently, with only one survivor.

Roots biome feels like a special sort of hell, fun, but hell.

Grabbed this the day they first dropped it and admittedly was surprised about how fun it can be. Does get a bit boring over rounds due to not much variety with things at times, but still fun to mess around with friends trying to beat the view count.

A very good and spooky arg style game rendered playable on steam. Very inventive in the ways it interacts with the player and lays out puzzles, would definitely recommend keeping a notepad on hand while playing to help ease things along. One of those games that's best played blind, just heed the disclaimers ahead of time.

Overall it's a very well done horror with layers to it, the puzzles are great and do take a good bit to solve them. Only major downside I can think of is towards the end when you're left unable to make major progress at once due to the environmental hazards that need to be waited out.

Overall a pretty fun game with some minor hiccups throughout it. Combat that's relatively smooth feeling and fun with a couple dragging bits such as sliding feeling a bit off and some weapons feeling rather limited in their use outside of specific scenarios. Enemy AI has it's moments of being silly, personally had several moments of groups of them running back and forth on ledges repeating their lines when down out of their reach on lower ground.

Honestly, could probably be rushed through and completed within a few hours if you're familiar enough with mobility heavy combat games and not searching for the secret codex tablets in levels. The accessibility features to change your damage, enemy damage, and how quickly adrenaline burns out being another thing that could speed it along.

For a relatively small team's first game on here it's got a lot worked out and is pretty solidly put together. Good soundtrack and makes use out of the environment, definitely wears it's inspirations on it's sleeve as well for the story and environment.
