Love, Peace, and Roseleaf

Let's collect good games together~!

Conclusion (If you don’t feel like to read the full text)
Love, Peace, and Roseleaf is a light humiliation-themed RPG eroge. As long as defeat H-scenes are completely avoided, the story mixes comedy with hot blooded moments (especially in the last stage). The player can only control Roseleaf, but the story advances through the perspectives of 3 heroines in different locations. H-scenes are also divided into 3 different categories based on each heroine though the main focus remains on Roseleaf. Overall, the game is good, as long as the player can accept some hardcore H-scenes.

Gameplay
Visit the official website to get the patch for the complete game experience!

Love, Peace, and Roseleaf tells the story of Momoha, an ordinary girl who is accidentally transformed into the magical girl Roseleaf by a mysterious being calling herself the Spirit of Love and Peace. The being promises to grant a wish if all Yamichu are eliminated. To help her father, Momoha accepts the deal, but little does she know that a single defeat could lead to utterly despairing consequences…

In the game, the player controls the heroine Momoha to search for Magic Stone Fragments throughout the town. Each fragment collected will advance the main story until all are collected. In addition to Momoha, the side stories of Aoi and Yami-chan will also progress (though Yami-chan’s storyline is purely comedic).

During the main story, the player sometimes will be transported to dungeons. While dungeons contain various Yamichu, fighting them is unnecessary as they grant no experience or money (only drops very low-value items occasionally). In most cases, it is recommended to ignore these monsters unless the player wants to trigger defeat H-scenes.

Battle is somewhat unique. Normally, the player can easily defeat all Yamichu in one hit. However, when facing bosses, the player has to use the correct elemental skill to counter on the turn after the boss charges. Momoha will be instantly defeated by the boss if the wrong skill is used. It is even more complicated when facing the final boss. However, as long as the player pays attention to the attack patterns, it should not be too difficult still.
Note: Before the final battle, the player will encounter a group of Pandas. The player must use a new skill to defeat all Pandas in a single turn, or they will continuously respawn!

The story is solid overall, though during the playthrough, the player will gradually feel that Aoi is the true main heroine (the ending also closes with her Happy End). It gives the impression to the player that all the good outcomes go to Aoi, while Momoho is left doing all the hard work. However, considering the developer is オニチク屋!... as long as it is not a bad ending, it will be considered as a good ending.
Note: Most scenes have no voice acting except the final battle. As the BGM is extremely good, it is absolutely worth to experience at least once!

Mature Content
Love, Peace, and Roseleaf features 34 H-scenes, most of them humiliation-themed, with each character’s H-scenes focusing on different topics. Momoho’s H-scenes focus on defeat humiliation which tie to breeding-themes; Aoi’s ones focus on pure love; and Yami-chan’s ones are mainly comedic!

In addition to Momoho’s defeat humiliation, all side events on maps will also trigger H-scenes.

Pros
  • Interesting world building
  • Some engaging personal events
  • Attractive heroines
  • Unique combat mechanics
  • Great BGM (final battle)
  • High quality H-scenes… though some scenes can be quite intense and not for every player
  • Excellent English and Chinese translation

Areas for improvement
  • The heroine’s role is somewhat unusual, especially in the later stages (even the ending) where Momoho[/b[ gradually feels more like a supporting character than the protagonist
  • Some in-game hints are not very clear (Panda for example). Adding more clear hints would greatly improve the overall experience

Dark Lord Leona

Let's collect good games together~!

Conclusion (If you don’t feel like to read the full text)
Dark Lord Leona is a fun, fast-paced card-building eroge. The player builds their ideal deck in each battle to defeat the opponent. The H-scene quality is very high, and Leona is fully voiced. The voice acting of the heroine is excellent and immersive, but unfortunately it is only available in Chinese, which some players may need to keep in mind.

For players who enjoy card-building eroges and do not mind Chinese voice acting, this title is definitely worth a try!

Gameplay
Patch is not required!

Dark Lord Leona tells the story of the Demon Lord’s daughter, Leona, who awakens from her seal and sets out to rebuild the demonic army. To do so, she must invade 5 nations and extract the essence of their elites to obtain powerful genes which allow her to give birth to demon elites and ultimately rule the whole world.

There are 5 nations with 2 difficulties for 10 stages. Each nation’s units have different passives. Some can resist ranged attacks, while others regenerate HP over turns. The player needs to pay attention to these passives to avoid getting countered during battle. Each turn, the player selects 1 of 3 units to add to their deck. Units are then randomly deployed onto a 5×5 board until all tiles are filled. If there are more units than available tiles, the game randomly selects from the player’s units.

The player must build decks with different synergies from 100+ units(cards) to defeat the enemy forces. Units are mainly divided into Melee and Range. Melee units can only attack enemies in the 8 surrounding tiles, while Range units can target any enemy on the board. Most units also have unique abilities. Some skills trigger based on turn count, some skills depend on race… etc. Making proper and reasonable combinations will greatly enhance the deck’s overall synergy. After clearing each wave, the player can also pick a Relic to further strengthen their deck.
Note: Although the game offers 100+ units and 36 Relics to create many possible builds, only a few combinations are truly strong. These synergies usually revolve around some specific units. Below are the ones I personally find powerful.
  • Dark Elf Guardian - Consistently generates Refresh, helping the player find better units
  • War Ghost - Core unit that can scale indefinitely
  • Iseria - Same as War Ghost
  • Sacrificial Offering – The strongest Relic in my opinion. It transfers the accumulated attack power to a random unit, and if the player has 2 copies of the same relic, it transfers to 2 units. This will keep the attack power circulating and steadily growing.
Aside from the units and Relics mentioned above, the player can also change Leona’s outfits to use different skills or purchase Passives for small advantages. Both of these require spending Glory Points earned from battles.

Mature Content
Dark Lord Leona has 12 high quality H-scenes. 10 of them serve as post-stage scenes after clearing each of the 10 stages, while the other 2 appear in the prologue and upon Leonar’s first defeat. All H-scenes are animated and fully voiced!

Pros
  • Charming and domineering heroine
  • Enjoyable gameplay mechanics
  • Numerous units and passives (Relics) which create rich and creative synergies
  • 10 eye-catching outfits
  • 12 high-quality animated H-scenes
  • Excellent English and Chinese translation

Areas for improvement
  • Card-building synergies offer a lot of variety, but their effectiveness can differ greatly. Hopefully the developer can adjust certain skill mechanics in future updates to make them viable
  • The title only has Chinese voice acting. Adding Japanese voice acting would likely make it even better
  • The skills provided by the outfits are not powerful enough to change the flow of battle. Strengthening the skills or speeding up the charge time would allow players to enjoy the gameplay more

Destroy! Mosaic!

Conclusion (If you don’t feel like to read the full text)
Destroy! Mosaic! is an enjoyable brick-breaking eroge. In addition to the classic brick-breaking mechanics, the game adds Elemental Magics which bring extra variety to the gameplay. The use of Thunder Magic in particular helps ensure that the player no longer faces situations where certain bricks are difficult to hit. Although the CGs are AI-generated and later refined, their overall quality is surprisingly great. The game also includes the Unlock All CGs feature, and the developer even jokes with the player while enabling it, making it a little bonus.

If the player is looking for a light, easy-to-play eroge with a decent level of enjoyment, this title is definitely worth adding to the wishlist!

Gameplay
Patch is not required!

Destroy! Mosaic! has a very simple background. The player controls a young witch who is trying to remove the curses that turn their clothing into bricks and shadow from heroines… though their clothes will be erased as well.

The player’s objective is to clear all bricks and shadows on the heroines. Bricks disappear after a single hit, while shadows require 2 hits. During the gameplay, various magic orbs may drop. Picking up an orb grants the corresponding buff. For example, an orb containing
