This is not your average hack and slash game that you will smash buttons throughout the game, instead you need to plan and time your moves. The game offers a unique combat experience that will seem complicated and hard at first but with time will have you master its techniques. But being a professional monster slayer your combat techniques won't be everything. You need to research about the different monsters that you will face and find their weaknesses to be able to defeat them and you must utilize alchemy to brew potions that will aid you.

The graphics is great considering it's a game from 2008 and offers one of the best soundtracks ever composed for a video game. The voice acting is great as well.

The only downside is its long loading times and inventory system.
