you feel the spirit of fun in the development, and the love of multiplayer FPS games in this. the second one is gonna be even better. ive played this game across all platforms for years and it still has my attention and playtime. Nows a better time than ever to pick it up, in preparation for splitgate 2

Not only is the classic, original experience still mind blowing amounts of fun, but it also surpasses a lot of modern games in it's mechanics and gameplay formula. to this day I don't know anyone who played these games back in the day that aren't looking back in frustration that the third official game was cancelled in knowing what could have been, but replaying classic BF 2 still felt satisfying for years after it's release. I recommend anyone get this as often as it goes on sale. The game on it's own offers a plethora of fun, but it also has modability that could keep it going for you near infinitely without running out of things to do.
