Played through this in 2026. I can't believe I missed this game when it first came out. What a brilliant game.
The game has a story that takes you to unexpected places with a satisfying conclusion. It is challenging but not unfair and rewards skill. Loadout decisions you make matter, and the game systems are polished and balanced. It made me realize how much this game must have inspired other games like Half Life Alyx or The Last of Us Part 1. The game just grips you into its world and you will find pure escapism. That said, creepy and terrifying escapism. The game's in-game vendor cuts through the tension with some whimsy and humor sort of like a splash of yoghurt on some good chili.

It is crazy to see how far behind this level of quality modern gaming has become. I had almost forgotten what a good game feels like.

Also, playing this in 2026 with all the graphics cranked up to maximum and 200+fps is an absolute treat. The engine does a great job. No stutters or hitching in sight.

I was skeptical going into this game, because of the last 2 movies Lucasfilm put out and the most recent Wolfenstein game. However, I am pleased to say this game positively surprised me. The story is fun. The characters are for the most part pretty cool. The game stays away from political pandering, which is a surprise. Excellent villain. Overall absolutely fantastic voice acting. The Harrison Ford impression that Troy Baker does is so on point that I often find myself forgetting it is not a young Harrison Ford I am listening to. Certainly the closest it has ever been in any video game.

The gameplay is different than I expected. I thought the first person thing would bother me more. But the way the game transitions between 3rd and 1st person works surprisingly well. So that it feels like the best of both worlds. The melee focus is kind of cool. Makes it feel more like the movies. Occasional shootouts. Puzzles, but not uncharted style.

This game feels like what "Ghostbusters: The Videogame" and "Mad Max" did for their movie franchises. Outstanding if you are a fan of the movies. And competent on their own if you are not. IF you are an Indy fan this game is 10/10. If not, then it is a 8/10

In my opinion the best Indiana Jones video game since Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis.

Graphics with Pathtracing are awesome and the game runs well on mid-range NVIDIA hardware. And man......Geforce Now + Steam Deck is also a fun combination for this game.

Would wholeheartedly recommend this game.

Probably one of the worst ports of the decade. None of the graphic settings appear to be affecting performance. Even in the intro level, frame rates are fluctuating wildly between 25-40 FPS regardless of resolution. Of my 10 cores only 4 are being used and the GPU is basically idling the entire time. Even at 4K, GPU usage never goes beyond 60%. But lowering the resolution to 720p does nothing for performance. They should have just held the PC version back until it was finished. The game needed another couple of months in the oven. There is nothing to be gained from releasing a game like this on a platform when it is essentially broken. What a joke. <---- original review

Now that the game is largely fixed and performance is good and the bugs are gone. I have to revise the review because this is the best Star Wars game since Jedi Knight 2 / Jedi Academy

This is what I imagine Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order would be like, if Studio Ghibli made it. But instead of spaceships and stormtroopers you get cute, fat gerbils simping for you while you go on a Metroidvania adventure. The gerbils help you solve puzzles while you provide them with fashionable hats made out of mushrooms and hope.

10/10

Also, runs well enough on the Steam Deck. If you lock it to 30fps you have a smooth ride and it looks great.

Loved the Little Big Planet games on Playstation. This one is to those what Super Mario 3D World is to Mario Maker. Meaning it is silly, fun and pleasantly chaotic in multiplayer. But the level creation stuff is missing.
I was a bit apprehensive after the "Digital Foundry" video on the technical stutter issues in the game. But it seems like the subsequent patches cleared that stuff up. So now you are left with a game that runs smoothly, has great level design and fun music. 9/10. Would be 10/10, if the level creation was still part of the game.

This game is perfection. Like a good breakfast-pizza. Hits the spot in just the right way. Pure nostalgia, but it also expands on the formula like a good sequel should. The addition of the dodge role and counterattack really works well. So good, I bought an arcade stick for it. *jazz hands*

If you like the old Turtles beat'em ups, then you will like this one. And if you played the OG games in the arcade then this one will be good for the soul.

I had low expectations of this one. But this game is excellent. My favorite Guardians of the Galaxy movie :). The characters look a bit weird when you first see them, but when the banter starts, the dialogue is so on point that the altered visuals no longer matters. The game was so good that now it will feel weird to watch the movies again. The movie version will feel like the impostors. Also, the characters are so well realized that they feel alive which makes the game almost feel like a COOP experience. The combat starts slow and is a bit boring in the beginning. But it gets more interesting over the course of the game and toward the end is actually quite unique and enjoyable. Either way it doesn't matter. The story is fun, the atmosphere is spot on. The dialogue is hilarious. The environments are diverse and cool. Best of all the game respects your time. No grind and filler content. Just one new thing after another and you'll just keep going because you'll want to know what happens next. Definitely my favorite game of the year so far.
