A fun and challenging roguelike deckbuilder with a unique identity.

The game has a lot of mechanical depth with characters that all feel unique and interesting. While not easy nothing ever feel impossible every loss felt like I was either learning something or could've made a better play. The game's rng come into play in a way that doesn't feel unfair while still throwing a new twist into every run .This is basically the only rougelike I play now and while it has been frustrating and fun in equal parts. Would wholeheartedly recommend every fan of the genre try.

(Played on normal mode at expert difficulty, there are more forgiving difficulty options)

while there may be a few problems with the game outside of combat such as the over reliance on money the gameplay of it all is phenomenal and absolutely worth checking out.

The beta of the english patch just released for everyone. While it only translates the important parts (orders and quests) it make the game perfectly playable and you can pick up a good portion of the story just from the quests and google doc.

It's a gorgeous game with a captivating soundtrack.

Out of my entire library if I had to recommend someone try out any game it'd be this one.

Simply the best thing I have ever bought on steam.

One of the few games that allows me to say with full confidence that I've enjoyed every single hour I've spent on it, Heck I'd buy it if it was double its price. This game have received 4 content packs ever since lunch, all of them for free.

For the duration of my first play through I was fully immersed in the world hollow knight have given me to explore. The world is absolutely massive with tons of hidden charms and relics for extra currency for those willing to go and explore. You can technically beat this game within under 3 hours with below 30% completion rate if you know what you're doing, but instead on my first playthrough i found myself wanting to fully explore each and every area and when i thought i had seen everything this game have to offer suddenly I've wandered into a new area with new faces and collectible for me to explore.

I've replayed the game in its entirety a few times and while it might not be as amazing as my first time which I shall forever remember as the time where the only think I wanted to do was to tell people about this game.

My only regret is not picking up this game when I saw it while looking for games to buy and in bought something else instead thinking this game looked weird. I fully recommend this game and hope that you'll enjoy it as much as I did, I sure as hell won't forget how tough and fun this game were to beat the first time around
