The game will crash 100% of the time within 1:30 of launch without FSR enabled, regardless of settings.

Even when you get it working, the game isn't worth playing. Even with all of the mechanics they added, the game is just worse than the first game. Worse story, worse combat, more annoying exploration.

Moments of terror interspersed between moments of sheer comedy

After seeing the state the game originally released in, I made a promise to myself that even if the game improved, even if they made it worth buying, I wouldn't buy it because I couldn't support this cycle of releasing broken and fixing them alter, rather than just releasing a finished product. Well, I was bored and some acquaintances swore up and down that the game was fun now. I saw it on sale and figured I'd give it a shot.

I wish that I had held myself to that promise.

Samey planets, unrewarding exploration, downright unfun combat in space and planetside. The quests are dull and repetitive when they even work at all, which was maybe 25% of the time. Multiplayer content? Forget about it. If it wasn't too late to refund, I would in a heartbeat.

Not only did this game make me a liar, I didn't even get any gameplay out of it.

Game of the year.
