The replayability value of this game severely suffers from you having to run everywhere several times already. Don't get me wrong, it was a cute cozy game to play for the (checks notes) 5 hours it took me, but there is no way this game was worth 20€.

Simple but effective progression system, intuitive HUD and relaxing sound design.

A very fun fighting game, the animations look very smooth and the PvE experience is fun if you don't like the very competetive nature of PvP in this game.
PvP is tough to get into, as the player base that remained is dedicated. It's comparable to getting into competetive Street Fighter years after a game release.

Matchmaking can be a tad frustrating and voice chat is always a gamble, but hey, it's a multiplayer game after all.

Grab a bunch of mates and you'll be good for hours on hours.

PS: Offline version for free? Nice move, Valve, really nice move.

There are browser games which do pretty much the same thing

But Shell Shock is all that in better

It's cheap, but if you think it's too expensive still, grab it on a sale

I'd really recommend dodging the servers that allow third-person if you do not want to fight helicopter knights. You don't HAVE to encounter them there, but the chance is still there.

Other than that, great combat, fluid animation, nice voice acting. Grab it on a sale or full price, and play it with friends.
