New TOS. You aren't the customer so much as a product. Avoid until Randy decides to make a quality product that isn't full of spyware.

I won't be playing this again or any other Gearbox/TakeTwo game now or in the future.

A buggy and glitchy mess. 2 dimensional story. If this wasn't given to me, I'd not have it at all.

They removed Lan Play from this re-release. When they fix that I may alter my review. As I play the game I may add to it as well.

Excellent title. A great recreation of the classic with new and modern feel! Though not a long game, It is well worth it for every fan, and even people interested in the "metroidvania" type of gameplay. Lots of fun!

I like others became enamored with this title prior to release. It was in a class of its own for graphics, and aledged gameplay.

I managed to get a CD copy on release, and loved it....Glitches and crashes were common, but somehow seemed normal. Years later this game has been patched up. Modifications small and large have been on the scene for years. This game is totally stable as of 2016, and still totally wonderful.

This is one of the best FPS titles I have ever played. The story is unique, and draws players in..... The atmosphere of the game is so real, that at times it is best to walk away for a bit and make sure you are not part of it.

Easily a classic in my book. I Have bought this game at least a half a dozen times on steam. For myself, for my family and friends. It is worth it.

Years later, I have somehow lost the physical copy....But my pc has not had a CD drive in years....It may very well have been in the drive when it was removed, and unresponsive. Hopefully someone at the recycling center found that cd and enjoyed it as much as I did.

Buy this game. It is a FPS survival horror that sets the bar higher than most ever expected it would. It has some "RPG" elements that add to the experience.


Of the STALKER series, this one is (my opinion) the best. It has the most depth, and challenges you to balance all parts of your quest throughout an irradiated wasteland. I find that no matter how often I return to this game, I always feel that I am simply not equipped well enough to survive. This is normal I think. It only adds to the fear of the unknown.

My 29 year old younger brother bought this "game" for me as a joke. Part of the "joke" is that it is not a game. Games offer some sort of enjoyment to the human being interacting with them. There is no redeeming qualities for this title. Save your money, and if someone gifts it to you, return it to them. The "game" Air Control is better than this. I would rather step in cat feces than have this in my library. If you have a steam friend, and this game is in their library with more than a few hours of game play, I would advise removing them from your list, and even blocking them entirely.

Dark and gritty. The game play is brutal at times, and keeps me on the edge of my seat.
