unlike cs go it's easy to hit your target and doesn't require a lot of precision. It also has a large community that has lasted for over 20 years that's keeping it alive and updated.

CS:GO Review
it's the only game with mechanics I enjoy. However the game is to precise to be properly played on anything but LAN as ping affects the game too much.
