REAL vikings hunt deer with their fists

This "charming" game has quickly crept its way into my list of top favorite games of all time. The art style and direction is astoundingly pleasant, providing a dark and mysterious atmosphere paired with an absolutely fantastic soundtrack. The difficulty is right on point - it can definitely provide some slight frustrations to casual video game players, but overcoming obstacles, puzzle, and bosses will give you a huge sense of satisfaction and encourage you to keep progressing through the game. There are so many hidden locations, characters, and pieces of lore to keep the enthusiasts coming back for more.

I'm not the type to use the term "masterpiece" often, but this game absolutely deserves that title.

This game had great potential that was wasted on poor decisions by the devs time and time again.

Starving is probably the last thing you'll need to worry about.

A simple concept, executed extremely well. Devil Daggers is a difficult, fast-paced FPS that will keep you on your toes for the few minutes (or seconds) that you are alive. No backstory, just some wholesome demon blasting. 10/10
