Let me start off by saying that I heavily enjoyed this game. Being a fan of the classic GTA top down, my interest in medieval era games, and having loved all the movies this game references I feel like I was in their target audience. I definitively plan to follow this developer closely.

That being said I can see why this game may not be for everyone. It has some crude humor and it references a lot of movies that may be under the radar of many people (it references Monty Python, and the Blair witch project to name a few). The only other issue I noticed was some janky animation/pathing issues. I didn't play with any DLC, but trying to get on a horse from certain positions would cause Guy or my Bard friends to run in circles for ages without intervening with manual controls. I also found it a little to easy to jam carts and horses into spaces I would be forced to abandon them in.. Not the end of the world there though seeing as its a game focused on stealing new ones. I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of DLC that would have added more horse related stuff beyond different breeds just being faster or slower (like customizations, or being able to pull a chariot with bladed wheels for example)

I would recommend this game to anyone that likes satire with a late 90's early 2000's flare.

Early Access Review
Can... stop.. playing... to me it feels like a co-op skyrim in its earlier stages of development.... But 99% less buggy :P (come on bethesda.. how many releases of the same game have the same bugs?). But In all honesty this game is enchanting, challenging and seeing the fruits of your labor is one of the more rewarding experiences I've had in gaming in ages.

Most games these days make the daily life a grind in their games.... but when you successfully make going on a trip to collect wood fun, your doing things right and this game, I feel, has done this. The combat is as solid as skyrim, decent selection of weapons despite early access too. The building is what i had to mod the Sh*t out of fallout 4 to become.

Despite the notice lack of specific building shapes, I'm not expecting lego level refinement, but not having any slopped walls aside from beams, and the lack of a 1x1 wall or a 2x1 floor excluding stone blocks (we have 1x1 floors and 2x1 walls) is my only gripe....

I will update my review as it gets updated but I can't stop playing this game... But my review as it stands in short... lot's of promise, but already delivers a lot. With planned updates i'm really excited for this games future.

This game is the prefect blend of Minecraft and a Metroid-vania styled game with light elements of an RPG. While the regular mobs are fairly easy to deal with it will take a some planning and preparation when your going to take on one of the many bosses.

I played this game mostly solo as not many people on my friends list own the game. The times I did have someone to share the experience with, the game became way more fun! I definitely recommend this game to anyone that likes the metroid-vania style of game. There are loads of items and gear to collect making it a collectors paradise and you can show off your newly found items in a home that has been built\decorated with your own two virtual hands.

The only negative feelings I had towards this game was when I would max out my gear and the next set of upgrades I could get were only obtainable by searching my entire world for the small amounts of ore which would often be surrounded by endless hordes of monsters. This was easily fixed when a buddy would be there to help guard me though!

I would personally give this game a 9/10 as it is challenging in singleplayer and is a blast in multiplayer, only losing a point due to the heavy farming late game like Cobalt ore for example(most of hardmode really), I mean really a 3 block patch of ore? That makes one bar and it took me 20-30 minutes of wandering the underground/cavern natural caves to even find that much! It takes 40 bars to make a full armor set and its only one more defense higher then the molten armor set?! Oh well! Heavy hands make light work so grab your Pickaxe, grab your friends and start digging!

9/10
