No other game has ever blown my mind quite like Viewfinder did. 10/10.

I cannot describe to you how magical it felt to discover and experience the game's main mechanic. I was afraid the trailers make it seem like you're given more freedom than you actually were. But I couldn't have been more pleasantly proven wrong. I could barely go 5 minutes without audibly shouting "♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool" to myself like an idiot. I literally had to take a break after 30 minutes because I couldn't handle my excitement. The trailers don't even do it justice. There are many surprises and amazingly creative ways you can use the mechanics that I do not want to spoil. You have to experience it for yourself.

The tech and gameplay mechanics of the game are some of the most innovative and creative things I have seen in a video game. This is the part that everyone seems to agree on. One of the most important things I want to point out is the level of quality and polish, especially for such a technically complex and innovative mechanic. I have experienced zero bugs throughout my entire playthrough. It just works. I would buy this game just for the tech alone. But thankfully, every other aspect about it also has something to offer.

The quality of the story and voice acting seems to be controversial. My opinion is that there is nothing inherently wrong about them, but I can imagine that they may miss the mark for certain types of people and that is totally valid. But for me, they were completely fine. I didn't really find the voice acting "cringe-worthy", it just felt playful and light-hearted. The atmosphere is quite peaceful, there is an adorable cat, and there is quite a bit of nice environmental story-telling. The main story is simple, but still captivating and can definitely strike some chords for you depending on who you are. This is not the kind of story that will be talked about for years to come, but it was more than sufficient to drive this groundbreaking game forward for me.

The puzzles are not necessarily difficult, but they are certainly clever. With such an innovative set of gameplay mechanics, even the simplest puzzles will make you feel smart. It feels great to go through them. But yes, they will likely not present a major challenge, which might be a bummer for some people, but I personally think the game is more about the experience rather than the challenge.

Finally, the game took me 5 hours to beat in total. I bought it for €25. You should be the judge of whether that's worth it for you or not. As for me, I am not a big spender, but €5/h for this kind of magical experience was more than worth it.

It's a huge compliment, I know, but I think it's true: the gameplay of Viewfinder easily achieves Portal status and in some ways goes even further. It perfectly achieves what it tries to do. And I will recommend it to everybody regardless of their preferences, because nobody deserves to miss out on this experience. Please support these awesome pioneering developers!

You can even pet the cat for heaven's sake!

I've been following the redemption story of No Man's Sky for years now and mainly bought the game to give my money to Hello Games to show my appreciation. So my thinking was "Even if the game is still not great they deserve the money at this point".
Turns out the game is absolutely great, and Hello Games absolutely deserve your money. Give it a shot!

If you liked Ori And The Blind Forest, you're going to love this one even more.
If you didn't like Ori And The Blind Forest, that's impossible, you don't exist.
If you haven't played Ori And The Blind Forest, shame on you, go play it and then play this one.
10/10

Early Access Review
I've spent hundreds of hours on SpaceEngine in the past few years on its free builds and when this major version came out on Steam I knew I would buy it in a heartbeat.
SpaceEngine is one of the most beautiful and immersive things I have ever experienced, the only thing that is more mind blowing than the expanse of its universe is the expanse of its feature set. You can explore moons, planets, stars, nebulae, and galaxies freely, you can build spacecraft and use them, you can manipulate space and time, you can save and share locations and events, you can learn about anything in the universe using the included wiki and interactive tools like charts, maps, search, and filters, you can take videos and screenshots with any camera settings you can imagine, I can go on and on listing things for hours. So instead I'll STRONGLY recommend you get SpaceEngine and spend some time in the amazingly crafted tutorials, they will show you the true potential of this amazing program!
Oh, and yeah, the included music is chill-inducing.

3 years later and this is still the best multiplayer game I've ever played. Some games you still like and support after months or years have passed but they start feeling stale and playing them starts feeling like a chore... this is absolutely NOT one of those games. It's perfect in every single way.

Pros:
-Gameplay is fast paced, fun, and very skill-based. (but still enjoyable no matter your skill level)
-Many game modes and options, great multiplayer features, splitscreen, crossplay, trading, all done well.
-Graphics are sharp and car customization is addicting and VERY extensive.
-Music is fantastic and very fitting for the game.
-Lootboxes are purely cosmetic and you can still get the items without them if you're lucky and/or into trading.

Cons:
-Everyone calls me a Rocket League salesman. (I'm not)

I will never stop recommending this game to literally everyone I speak with. Thank you Psyonix for 3 years of this timeless masterpiece.
