Car + ball + flying = love

Rocket League is love, Rocket League is life.

I will try to make this review short and sweet while still giving it a good review.

Honestly I don't get how this game get's the amount of hate that it does. Of course reviews on games vary but I love this game. I've had the game for just over a week and I've already put in 13.5 hours.

When playing this game there are several things to consider.

FIrst, when you start this game you WILL NOT be good at it. This isn't your typical game where you start it up and you get the hang of things within 10 minutes of playing because quite frankly it isn't that simple. The tutorial does a great job of giving you the basics and learning all the controls and how to use them but when to use certain attacks is the part you need to wrap your head around.

Chances are when you start this game you will be a tker (Team Killer) even if you don't intend to. The biggest complaint EVERYONE has including myself when playing this game is that people will run into group battles and keep left clicking or slashing and hitting every teamate with every swing killing enemies and teammates. It's usually the newer players that do this and it does get annoying at times. The easiest way to avoid it is using the mouse wheel for attacks. If you get this game you'll about these things fairly quickly.

The community on the game is surprisingly for the most part really good as well. Even if you team kill by mistake or what have you, you don't have those people yelling and screaming at you, everyone is pretty forgiving. The other amazing part is that even though there is friendly fire always on, you don't really have people running around cutting down there teammates and if there is a guy doing that he's kicked within 10 seconds of doing it.

The game is very noob friendly as well. There are servers that allow only rank 0-15 to be in them. This helps the new comers play with people that are less experienced. Keep in mind that once you get to about Rank 5 you have a decent grip on the game. With that said Rank 10-15's will be pretty good.

In my time played I've already reached rank 11 that's in 13 hours so it does take some time. I got the hang of the game fairly quickly but I am a fairly quick learner, so some people may find it a bit harder.

MY NUMBER ONE COMPLAINT FOR THIS GAME

They want your money WAYYY TOOOOO MUCH.
Just like most games there are some sort of in game purchases in this game. The purchases in this game are all contents made by players of the game like custom armours, weapons, etc. These custom looks for your weapons all have a high price. When things go 50% off like they are right now it still costs like $3 for a sword. Yes you read that right "A SWORD" A SINGLE SWORD IS LIKE $3 WTF?

That is really my only complaint with this game besides that I love it and I think anyone who likes fast paced games where you can slash, decapitate, and throw javelins through peoples heads, NEEDS to try this game.

I found the game all around fun. I love the fact that everyone can interact with each others missions. Great for people that love to play in teams.
