Another fantastic installment in the Lost Legends of Redwall series. If you ever read the Redwall books, you will love the way this game captures the very essence of Redwall's atmosphere. The story is great, and the way it weaves in and out of the story in Mossflower, interacting with main characters without changing the storyline is nothing short of genius.
The puzzles are hard enough to make you think, but easy enough that you won't give up. I was really disappointed when I finished the game because I wanted the experience to last forever.
I seriously recommend that you try this game. It's well worth your time.

It's taken me a while to get around to writing this review, and for that I apologise. But I have been busy of late, and consequently rather more than a little time poor. With that being said, I believe it would be unfair of me to delay this well deserved review any longer.
The Scout is just the first of six episodes in a series of games developed by a group known for their commitment to providing quality games, but more importantly, quality customer service. I have been testing The Scout since it first came out on early access, and have put over 100 hours into playing and replaying levels. I made a lot of recommendations and bug reports, and I am happy to say that they were all addressed very quickly, and in the meantime I managed to chat quite a lot with the Devs, who have always been more than happy to discuss different aspects of the game.
As I have already stated, I've played this game for over 100 hours, and I intend to continue playing as often as I can due to the beautiful storytelling and graphics, as well as the somewhat addictive gameplay.
I can't make up your minds for you, but if I could, you would definitely be playing this game by now. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

HIC LVDVS, "OTHELLO", OPTIMVS EST!
While the player base is nowhere near as large as it could be, I believe that it ought to be played a great deal more often, as it is a fun and challenging game. People who want to challenge and destroy their minds puzzling over which tile to flip next will love this game.
A word of warning: The AI is difficult to beat but not impossible.
Another word of warning: This is NOTHING like chess.

A++++++++++++

I think this is a fantastic game which deserves a much greater publicity. The only downside is an AI which can be beaten if you know what you are doing.
I would heartily recommend this game to anyone who asked.
