Devs a pedo. Also, honestly i think this game is TOO overglazed, I like it, I love it, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ isnt it annoying? the massive, REALLY massive amount of backtracking in this game just gets to a point where it turns unbearable for me, not to mention there is a lot of very specific stuff to do sometimes that is not explained at all and it just makes simple quests feel like whole puzzles.

Gameplay is just fatal flawled, this game really is only good because of the spectacular psychological story and good usage of horror themes in-game, but then again, those in my opinion are extremely darkened and put aside because of the annoying gameplay, and no, the source gold engine isnt really a excuse for this, the problem arent the mechanics, is the fact that this game just did NOT knew how to put its history into a game. I have to say I like the enemies too, they are interesting to say the least, the gimmicks are for the most part simple so thats a small point in favor of the gameplay I so much yelled at here.

Did I mention the dev is a pedo? no i wont separate art from artist or whatever they say here, game is bad, woulda done better as an horror sfm series or somethingy.

Really fun game, but after first major update, it has extreme problems with matchmaking, pretty much never gets you to an active game, then sends you to host one, and no one ever joins no matter how long you wait.

Almost unplayable without friends, if you have a group to join you up, then dismiss this review, you will not find any trouble.
(This review will also be changed if they eventually improve the matchmaking, of course.)

History is pretty short, not as much as the first game, but still is one of the best histories I have ever seen in a videogame, even having the knowdledge of some pretty heavy spoilers, this game still found it's way to shock me the first time I played it.

The puzzles are also pretty good, and the game is full of fun secrets and extras, so if you are a completionist and such, you will find yourself with a lot of achievements to go through, you are gonna need some friends, however, so make sure to have that checked up!

The addition of the cooperative multiplayer mode is also pretty funny... And goofy.

In general, this was a precious sequel, wish I could had play it earlier.

One of, if not the best and most entertaining roguelikes ever made, atleast in my opinion, and MY GOD am i happy to be able to say this...

If you have been following this game you may know it has been thru a very dark era with the IP being sold to their, not very positively known publisher, Gearbox, who to make it worse, is now also owned by even worst known company Take Two. However, the main trouble was all of the worry about those changes being proven true by the launch of DLC2, Seekers of the Storm, an absolute catastrophe that not only was an awful DLC with items that felt AI generated, boring, wonky and underpowered survivors (That last part goes specifically to CHEF), a pretty simple, underwhelming, and easily cheeseable new bossfight, and most importantly, a complete revamp on the entirety of the game's code that turned it into a buggy and disgusting mess, where everything that happened in game was based on... Your FPS rate???

Anyways, the good news are, that those are in fact, old news! :D after a pretty long wait, the dev team has finally finished their DLC2 relaunch roadmap, where they reworked the items to make them really fun and enjoyable, fixed the bossfight to make it a lot more dynamic and interesting, and finally reworked all the survivors to make them a lot more enjoyable to play. And as if that wasn't enough, less than a week later they announce A THIRD DLC ALREADY IN THE WORKS?

Man, I don't really know what can I say except WE ARE SO BACK, the future of Risk of Rain 2 looks really bright and, as it was stated today at PAX Expo, there is not a better time to play this awesome game than today! :D

Este juego es un recuerdo de el amor que Valve le ponia a sus juegos, uno del que, sin importar las "desiciones" que ha tomado la empresa ultimamente, todo desarrollador deberia tomar de, realmente se puede aprender mucho de los Developer commentary de los juegos de el source engine, y puede dejarte una marca en el corazon, una mas de las muchas que toda esta franquicia y esta empresa ya ha dejado.

En cuanto a lo que realmente es el juego, la descripcion lo dice todo, es una parte cortada de HL2 que no llego al producto final, la cual utilizaron para practicar y demostrar un nuevo metodo de renderizado y iluminacion, es corto, lo mas probable es que lo termines entre 15 y 20 minutos (Probablemente menos si vas por un WR o que se yo), pero honestamente es disfrutable, siendo que es un producto gratuito que viene de bonus por la compra de otros como la Orange Box, ademas trae de vuelta, a su propia manera, uno de los momentos mas iconicos de HL1.
