A short action‑adventure game that raises questions about morality and self‑sacrifice in the context of humanity’s existence as a species. It features decent controls, pleasant visuals, and a straightforward plot. Taken together, all these elements make for a quite enjoyable game — perfect for a couple of relaxing evenings to unwind and distract yourself.

«The Walking Dead» by Robert Kirkman was originally not a story about those who rose from the dead in the mould of our beloved George A. Romero, but about those who remained in this world to enforce laws according to their own, often twisted moral compass. In turn, the phrase «The Walking Dead» refers to the unconverted people who have ceased to be human. In the first and most heart‑wrenching part, playing as Lee Everett, we have to do quite a lot to ultimately achieve true catharsis.

Is the fact of the American Civil War being fought interesting if you're not a US citizen? Absolutely — just like any period of conflict in the 19th–20th centuries, before the advent of aviation and armored vehicles. The development of the narrative (including alternative history) is a strong point of this game. However, questionable controls and an unbalanced difficulty level leave a negative mark. I liked the game as a historical reference, but not as a real‑time strategy (RTS).

A small survival dilemma lies in the necessity of making harsh decisions. No, I can’t say that Frostpunk made me worry and regret the consequences the way This War of Mine did — in the latter, there were no truly “right” actions at all. In Frostpunk, however, there are “conditionally good” decisions that position the player as relatively kind or cruel within the narrative framework.

As a game by 11 bit Studios, it’s a distinctive and intriguing product with an experimental style. Yet, like other series from the studio, it doesn’t evoke quite the same level of compassion for the “minions” as This War of Mine does.

If someone asked me whether I recommend this game, I would unequivocally say "yes". The reason for such a definite answer lies in the massive immersion into the project.

Earlier, in the world of RPGs, the closest game I played was "Titan Quest", which isn’t very similar but is nevertheless an RPG.

The development of the storyline is fairly predictable: "You are a good/bad (depending on the player’s choices) hero who destroys absolute evil." However, it’s not so much about the plot itself as about the well‑written characters and situations. Each of these elements makes you want to return to Faeeron time and time again.

Игра ставит нас перед фактом, что мы лишь солдат. Не супер-герой или ультра-добрый бравый миротворец. Он просто - солдат, со своими слабостями и сильными сторонами. Оказавшись в ситуации, когда про него практически забывают он становится заложником обстоятельств. Его психическое состояние сломлено тем, что он видит смерти товарищей, что это уже не в первой происходит, но здесь - игра на два фронта, особенно со стороны внешней разведки USA.
И мы понимаем - он солдат, такой же человек как ты. Как я. Ему нельзя не сопереживать. За него нельзя не волноваться.

Шутки шутками, но игру сделали бесплатной. Появилось полно читеров и неадекватов. Дают бан за то, что последние лезут под ствол и прыгают под гранаты. Просто испортили игру, зря тратил деньги. Абсолютно разочарован, а хотя был довольно оптимистичен даже тогда, когда её сделали бесплатной.

Хорошая,динамичная игра.Советую поиграть.
По-мимо того,что в ней очень хорошая графика,она имеет привлекательный сюжет...
А ещё в не можно нажраться и жечь детей(мод).
А также взять модуль "Космоса" из "Portal 2"(мод).
В общем,советвую купить,у неё ещё много плюсов.
