I cant count the number of times I have played this game 5+ hours in one sitting, unknowingly. Ill sit down at 8pm and not look at a clock again until 3 or 4am. It just sucks you in, and you cant stop playing.

I just finished my first playthrough of the game. This game is a rollercoaster of emotions that may bring even the most callous individuals to tears (I fully admit that I cried multiple times). Everything about this game is beautiful, from the style of the graphics, to the converesations that take place, to the music that is present throughout. The topics brought up in this game were very well represented, and I applaud the creators for their effort to make it seem as real as possible while still creating a story about time travel/manipulation. For those of you that may be on the fence about it, I HIGHLY suggest you buy it.

For a very early alpha game, The Forest has captivated me. It has huge potential as a great game, and I will eagerly await the future updates that make this game even better than it already is. Granted, it is incredibly buggy due to the early alpha stage, the game is still playable. It gives me an opportunity to learn the basics of the game under such high pressure from OP cannibals, and mutants, and limited craftable items.
