Such a revolutionary step forward in the lineage of one of the most beloved video game properties of all time! The additions and changes made to this expansion will surely resonate in the annals of the history of all media ever made. It is perhaps true to say that no mistakes are forever etched in stone for the stone in which the Stanley Parable was carved has itself been transmuted, offering a message of hope to those who have ever erred in their judgement, "You are not beyond redemption. You may change and you may become more, so much more than you were before." If there is any message to be taken from The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe it is this, "What a fortune, a privilege, a joy it is to have such an experience it leaves me hopeful that as a community - as a world, there is time for us to become our greatest selves as great as we could ever dream of in our wildest, most ambitious visions for a brighter future."

I love this game so my "do not recommend" comes from a place of sincere and sad frustration. Long story short: the game is broken as it currently exists.

There is something bugged with the terraforming which means you can sink HOURS into the game only to find out later on that your game file is simply broken and that you can't complete the terraforming process. I even submitted a support ticket only to be told that my files were corrupted and that I should ask the community for help. It seems a bit backwards for the company that developed/owns this to volunteer free labour from the community to fix your game.

I've had this issue in multiple new files of the game, which has quite frankly broken my trust. I simply can't recommend it as it currently stands.

It is such a shame because the game itself is amazing. It's complex, has great replay value in the challenges and profile types. But to replay it you have to be able to play it in the first place...

IT'S SO CUTE I WANT TO DIE

Went to play this after beating Fable 3. It's clear that what started the Fable series has not held up in time in regards to graphics. Also the settings/saving is bizzarely set up. My save didn't work and it made me restart the game despite making it past the first cut screen. Unless you have a nostalgic attachment to this series I would not recommend this game.
