A simple incremental game that only requires a few sessions to complete. there isn't much content outside of the visual spectacle of the dice flying around, but still scratches the incremental game itch without plunging you into a full relapse.

this is a solid motorcycle racing and combat roguelite that i'll probably come back to periodically for as long as it lives in my steam library.

got it on sale for 2.99 and it was well worth the price.

Really good short thriller. well beyond being worth the price of a sandwich.
if anyone is hesitant to play it because of the focus on command-line based gameplay, just know that its mostly thematic, and is pretty approachable. Someone who doesn't spend as much time looking around in the file structure will probably get through it quicker than i did.

i had to agree to Disney's forced arbitration agreement to play a game from 2003, only to find out it aged worse than i thought it did.

worth playing for anyone who likes idle games. doesn't waste your time, the numbers still go up while you're offline, at least after an early upgrade. has a nice little story, and despite its minimalistic visuals and sounds, manages to produce a treat for the senses.

got this on pre-order and its still my main controller for pc gaming. hope they bring it back.

got this on sale for $3.99. if you're the type of gamer to get caught up in that lazy ubisoft-style open world gameplay loop of "complete a small variety of objectives to turn sections of the map blue," like i am, then you really can't go wrong at that price point, especially considering you wont have to install a third party launcher, like u-play.

Additionally, Timesplitters 2 has been ported and hidden in this game. so that's pretty cool.

Edit: i'm really getting tired of the KPA units howling like nazi zombies without the voice changing filter. it's like 1 of 4 voicelines on the most common enemy types and its driving me insane.

the long and short of it is, all the mechanics from boneworks are here and tightened up quite nicely, but the story falls short. the game sets you up like you're about to embark on some kind of quest, but then ends immediately after, i totally didnt see it coming until the credits were rolling. i was holding out for another mind blowing ending, like boneworks had, but it just didnt pan out.
im glad that my favorite VR arena brawler got a facelift and some other game modes to mess around in but this isnt the linear narrative i was hoping for...
