I went in to this game blind (as you should too) and the passion and care put into this seeps from every single frame. Though a single play-through takes around half an hour, the impact made lasts much longer. Behind every hard-hitting line and the stunning art & sound direction for this game lies a powerful message about anxiety, depression, and self-doubt. As someone who has struggled with those things for most of my life, I was hit hard in my emotional core playing this. Its been quite a while since I've played anything which has churned my stomach and brought me to the point of tears. That being said, this game explores mature themes which some people may find triggering. Luckily, the game tells you this outright and even offers to tell you what those things are before playing which is a great choice in my opinion. I truly recommend this game to anyone and everyone regardless of their experience with visual novels. And to Jesse, you said that over the course of the year it took you to develop this that you wanted it to be more than just some cool game but art that stands on its own and you did it man. You did it. Thank you for making this, I love your game.

This game is fantastic, but I'm having a bunch of stability issues upon entering the TV Station which has completely stopped me from progressing in the game.

I never had the chance to play Silent Hill 2 when it originally came out. From friends and strangers on the internet, I have always seen its praises being sung and as such I knew that this game was something special. Despite knowing nothing about this game, I had very high expectations due to the notoriety and apparent quality that surrounds the original. That being said; I am absolutely blown away by this remake. I don't think a game has hit me so hard in my emotional core in all of my life. The aesthetics, sound design, the music, everything is just incredible. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with this game and I know that this is a title I will 100% return to.
