I usually don't write reviews, but this game feels like it's worth the exception as it has blown me away in all possible ways.

As an turn-based RPG fan the gameplay not only delivers peak gameplay compared to other turn-based games I've played, but adds elements to its combat that far exceed any other game of the genre I've played so far. The addition of the dodge/parry mechanic as well as the QTE's during attacking turns adds such a dynamic feel to combat to where it keeps me wanting to fight every optional boss post-story just because the combat is a blast to play.

But far more than that is the story of the game itself. The way it takes place in a beautifully crafted fantasy setting while still tackling real topics in a way that feels incredibly realistic and natural way that honestly makes for an experience I can't say I've ever had with a game before.

I cannot recommend this game enough, as it truly feels like a once-in-a-lifetime type of game that I do wish everyone could experience and that I would gladly go back through numerous amounts of times.
