Peak gacha game and IP. Give it an honest try!

Honestly, this game was exactly what I was looking for: a gamification of python coding. As a genre, it's in a difficult situation because both the game and the actual educational content has to be good. I think this is part of the reason why reviews are mixed. People who like the game part might not like the coding aspect and people who like the coding part may not be fond of the gameplay. But I am here for both, and that's why I find CodeStrike as a unique blend that I hope to see more of.

If you're trying to learn code for the first time, this might not be the game for you, but if you have a bit of experience it's a great way to practice. I have about 2 years of experience coding and found the intermediate difficulty option a good fit.

Now for some areas I think could be improved. I admit that there's lots of lag and stuttering when loading in to new areas which is one aspect I hope to see improved in the future. Also, sometimes the camera will do a random spin (usually after the lag spike). I can see what people are saying about this causing motion sickness. Also, please make a "hold to sprint" option for the sprint button (I don't like the input being a toggle button only). As it stands now, the game is certainly sufficient, and I'm looking forward to the additions the developers will make.

I don't know much about the review bombing other than angry people raging about a different game. What I do know is that this game is one of the best strategy games out there combined with an incredible story.
