Help, I'm doing Pandemonium difficulty and I'm stuck at Chapter 6 💀


Okay, for the actual review...

This game is difficult, different and outright addicting. It's different compared to Doom Eternal, I cannot lash out the same way I do in Eternal due to the emphasis on shield combat. That said it's a good type of difficult, you have to learn how to adapt to its gameplay and figure out how to take a demon out in the best possible way (I usually go with small demons to larger demons). The first time I tried fighting a Cyberdemon, I tried doing it from a distance a la Eternal style but quickly figured out that it was not the best way to do, so I ended up dying and restarting from the very start of the map 💀.

There are a few bugs I've encountered along the way, it sometimes automatically performs a 4th melee (despite me not having that upgrade) and an execution without my prompt, I do not know how to replicate it but it is definitely while I was close to a demon and shooting it, which throws me off my rhythm so I end up with either having a critical health or dying.

Regardless of these short upcoming I have encountered so far, I would definitely recommend the game especially if you are into parrying and thinking whilst under pressure. Not an easy game to master but that's the fun of it! I do wish someone makes a guide on how to handle each demons but that's the fun of it, you'll become a black belt at the game the more you play.

Okay okay, I fell in love with it immediately because of Doom 2016. I spent SO MUCH time on this but I initially ordered it on Bethesda.net but since they shut down, I transferred it here but lost my level 300 and my playtime.

It's got good graphics and it's optimised to the max that even a 1050 can play it at decent enough speed. I cannot stress enough as to how fun this is once you've learned the basics of the movement and the game's mechanics. It's not a simple shoot everything and you win, you gotta think fast of how you're gonna approach each demonic encounter you have.

This game is for people that are seeking to play fast-paced games. Graphics wise, this game is top-notch and runs at a very fast FPS, the soundtrack made by Mick Gordon is fantastic, the main menu soundtrack is made from a chainsaw and a synthesizer which alone makes it bad ass enough.

Running the game in Vulkan definitely improved the FPS by a significant amount than running it on OpenGL 4.5

Honestly, it just stutters on a GTX 980 Ti. Consumers should not have to go through modding the game files just to fix problems that developers should already have fixed.
