There are many points that can be discussed. The release that was messed up, multiplayer desync and so on...

My biggest problem, however, is the missions. Due to the story, many missions are repeated. The story is brilliant with its twist. But I'd rather have it as a series/anime than in the game. It's not so great in the game.
The same missions with different opponents are really boring and don't really contribute anything if the dialogue is 99% identical.
And it doesn't help if another half of the missions come from EDF5.
In EDF6 you could easily throw out 80 missions and you'd probably have a healthy mix of missions.

I can't recommend EDF6 for people who want to start with the series or for longtime fans. Get it at the sale and preferably with friends, not on your own.

I think this game is worth to be called EDF. It catches the gameplay loop and expanding it with sweet new features. It does not feel like a real EDF when it comes to controls, but after two or three hours, you will get used to it.
As the main series, it has a bad pricing. To release, it was about 60 € (with 20% discount). Now in sale for 21 € it is ok.
For veteran of the EDF series I can recommend it, for newcomers I would recommend buying EDF5. It is cheaper and by far superior to this game.
EDF!

Chambers of Devious Design is an interesting game that feels similar to other games. The campaign is okay, but nothing special. You are introduced to a few different game modes. I feel that some of them, for example surviving, are not enjoyable and can be tedious. It is not fun because you mostly play alone and wait for your opponent to fail. The normal game mode, which requires players to reach 80 points, has appealing mechanics and a better game length.
As a board game, I think the games lacks game-design. The idea is great, but sometimes I feel like the room designs aren't very well-thought-out. Maybe I am a bit too bad, and do not see a great combination for my rooms. I also think that the NPC and me should interact more. More types of cannons or other aspects to interact with NPC would be great.
However, the game does have some great features. I appreciate the different themes each room has, and the completion bonus is motivating.
Overall, it is a fun little game that missed from my perspective a few chances to shake the game up and making it way more interesting.

The game is quite simple. I also seem to have taken a different route than I was supposed to, so I could easily kill everything with the best sword. One thing I don't like is the way you go from screen to screen. But since it's a short adventure, it's tolerable.

Unfortunately, the DLC does not expand the actual gameplay loop. So if you are looking for the same thing after the campaign, but with new tracks, you are very well served here.
In the store it says, “Choose your race strategy before the race”, but in the game it says choose one of the 3 perks. But the choice is easy because the one with more handling is actually always the best choice.
The cars also don't drive significantly differently, which would make you notice the new 34 playable cars.

This game is great. It's a little strange at first with the controls, and the view is a little too close (but luckily, you can zoom out a bit). But once you're 3-4h in, then the game actually really gets going. Especially the rally tracks are a lot of fun.
