This game slaps, it had no need to go that mega on the ending but it did.

I have lots of nice things to say about Pantheon, the game. Saw the new aggressive EULA, I'm out. Uninstalled.

Shame it had a bad marketing launch because it's a solid shooter. Can't stand the Robocop universe or it's 'copaganda' but this game is excellent, very fun and totally worth playing. ACAB.

Short but wonderful game. Good gameplay with some challenging aspects but not so much that you want to tear your hair out. Strikes a fair balance, perfect for Steam Deck players.

I love this game BUT.... it commits some heinous gamer crimes. Let's get the main points out of the way first.

Bugs - most games have launch bugs, get over it, game runs fine.

The minigames are the single worst part of this, they take up most of your game time and all of your patience. Ignoring minigames, or better yet, using mods to skip them will make this a much more enjoyable game. They all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ suck and the computer always cheats. I thought about breaking down how bad each one is but writing a review on them would be more PTSD. I cannot stress how much of mistake it was to make 80% of the game be minigames. If you have any sort of impairment, goooood luck, the devs hate you and they show it through minigames. As for the creator of Queens Blood.... know that you have made an enemy for life.

As for the story and such, it's downright excellent, if you love FF7 then you will enjoy this game. If you hate FF7 then why did you buy it? The combat system is really fun except that some fights are obnoxious. You have enemies that can perma stunlock you, 1 hit kills, mega damage hits that take you from full health if you don't have the reaction time of milliseconds. Some of these fights are beyond a joke and of course the ultimate sin of unskippable cutscenes and bad checkpoints between those fights.

If you play this game, I really do think you will love it but heed my warnings. It is by no means a bad game at all but.... The devs do not respect your time and so you shouldn't respect theirs. Use mods, cheat, whatever gets you through it because it's just not worth the hassle.

10/10 game. It hits all the right notes of story, setting, graphics, music and never overstays it's welcome. Multiple endings, great writing and you have yourself a wonderful experience for under 10 hours.

Worth your money, roughly 35 hours for a first playthrough. Surprisingly decent story, great mechanics, can be quite difficult but damn is it fun to play. Wouldn't mind seeing a movie based on this story concept or characters.
