Waited for 2 minutes to get in to a match when there are 25,000 people online. The entire enemy team is all bots. What is this matchmaking???

The game has really turned around with the Winds of War Update. This is definitely worth playing now. Gameplay feels good, there are some excellent QOL improvements, and you can get to the fun part sooner after the wipe. If you love EFT, or Arena: Breakout Infinite, I would highly recommend you try this.

Very fun getting immersed in the adventure and debauchery. Unique mechanics for combat, lockpicking, pickpocketing, and sword sharpening. They take some getting used to, but can be made easier with mods. There's plenty of mods that make this game more user friendly, the inventory and save mods are highly recommended. There are some fun quests with some of the major characters, and it's generally fun progressing through the game. There are lots of skills to progress. There are some bugs, but I recommend saving often and reloading saves as needed to fix / get around bugs. 8/10, looking forward to KCD 2!

Great game, great gunplay. Plays like a combination of Roblox and Battlefield 3, which may sound weird, but it's actually amazing.

Almost unplayable on Meta Quest 2. The game frequently has issues with the left controller or just freezes all together. Trying to hold a gun with 2 hands rarely works, same with trying to pump a shotgun.

Fun game! I like the variety of skins and game modes. The game never gets boring even though the core gameplay is pretty similar across modes. I recommend playing this game with a controller. Great fun to play with friends over Discord!

This game is incredibly good. An improvement in every way from the first game. I have experienced next to no bugs or strange issues. Very playable experience, and easy to setup a wheel. A joy to play and an easy reccomendation.

This review focuses on Gaijin's support (the developer). I lost access to the email account which my gaijin account is under. I want to change my account email to my current email, but I cannot do this because you need to open a verification email in your account email. I don't have access to the email so I cannot do that.

So I contact support and ask them if they can help me change my email because my old email was lost (and this is while I am logged into my gaijin account on the support page). They tell me they are not allowed to change emails. I ask if they can help me change my password. They also cannot change my password. So I am stuck with an incredibly insecure account which I have sunken over $100 into which someone could take control of at any time and I would be powerless. In fact, the account page says someone from Russia has been logging into my account!

EDIT: As of a few days ago, Gaijin added a second email to my account for me. I promptly changed the password, added 2FA, and added my phone number. I also deleted off the old email address. Thankfully Gaijin have improved their policies, so I am changing my review to a positive one.

P.S. This game is still a massive cash grab though, that hasn't changed. Hide your wallet when you play this game.

This game has great gameplay. It is refreshing to play PUBG after playing more generic shooters. I appreciate the necessity of strategy / tactics as well as aim and skill needed in order to win a match in this game.

Optimization is fine right now, I have a 980Ti and 6600k and run 1080P Ultra at about 90-100FPS.

Yes vaulting has taken a long time to be implemented. I played it in the test server and it works, though not flawlessly. But that's why it's in the test server and not the main branch. Development has appeared slow to me with the most noticeable changes being new weapons added to the game. However the launch of 1.0 will bring a suite of changes to the game including reworked ballistics, reworked vehicle physics and sounds, vaulting / climbing (you will be able to jump into or out of certain types of windows for instance). Not to mention the desert map that is coming. And we have seen several screenshots of a fairly complete looking desert so we know it is coming along nicely.

Overall I have faith in the continued development and completion of this game. They are definitely still working hard at developing this game and I don't see it getting abandoned at any point in the near future.
