I can NOT wait for this to release. So far I've done like 5 play through of the demo and every time it just gets better.

Word of warning!!! Just wait. If Nintendo will go after small Etsy stores for selling home made nitted Pokemon beanies, then I don't see how this game will survive the fallout that's about to happen.

With that being said, I really enjoy the game. It's Pixark meets Pokemon in a BotW setting. The controls are simplistic and the key bindings are a bit odd. Finding the info you are looking for in game can be tedious with all the affixes given to the pals. The housing system still needs refinement. Roofs are tricky to add. As it is there isn't much in terms of craftable pieces to build with. It is EA after all. Early onset depression to a pal is a pain to deal with because you have no medicine to heal them with.

I really hope this game survives. I purchased it, and my family wants to as well, but no reason to dump 100$ for copies, if this game is going to get pulled. Just be cautious and wait.

This game went from pretty decent and worth playing to complete and total S hit. I really hope everyone can read this review and never purchase anything else in this game. Let this DB of a dev rot with his game.

So far this game is a lot of fun. You die a lot but it's really nice that you still keep progressing. Not in a typical spawn from last save or anything, but you unlock mods and ways to play. There is always something to do and it doesn't get old.
Anywho, game is amazballs and I would not pass this one up.
Made a video if you wanna see it in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hv_FkjVTPGU

Very well written and executed. The story was gripping and thrilling. I would recommend this game in the dark only for full effect. I streamed this and everyone who was watching seemed to enjoy it.

Thanks for making an excellent story driven game.

I want to start this review by saying that when I first played the game, I thought It was total junk. HOWEVER!!!! One of the devs contacted me because of my negative review and asked me to give it a second chance after a big update. I accepted this offer and below is my review on the 12 hour stream that I did for this game.

First let me say that this game has its ups and downs. For those looking for a short review, I would say the game at its current state is not ready to be played for hours on end.

PROS:

The game features a Space Cowboy style theme. Kinda reminds me of Cowboy Bebop.

The devs are very quick to come out with updates. They are very active fixing everything in this game.

There seems to be an active community although it is rather small. When I played I was greeted on stream by the main dev and 2 mods.

The game world is huge. I think we are talking solar system huge right now with multiple places to explore.

There is a TON to explore. There is a ton to see.

Right now the game has a mute button that works great. The sound is busted so there is a LOT that will kill your ears. Mute is your best friend.

NPC AI gives the worlds/buildings/ships a lively feel to it. The game doesn't feel empty. Additionally, when I was playing on the PVE server, I ran into a handful of other players from time to time.

Although the bugs would be considered a CON, they added a huge amount of entertainment value to my viewers lol.

CONS:

Bugs. At this time, there are a LOT of bugs. Not just talking about the Starship Trooper ones either.
I will list a handful that I ran into while streaming.

Sound. The devs know about the issue. Sound volume is horrible right now. Sound effects are equally as bad. We had many ear bleed moments while the sound was at its lowest possible volume. Horses sound like wet asscheeks smacking together when you walk/trot/gallop.

The prologue which seems to be the most worked on feature of the game, still seems lacking. The missions/quest/whateverthehellyouwannacallit seems difficult to follow at times. The NPC overhead thingys were not always on point. Also, I guess you were suppose to loot everything you could possibly find while running this and I had no idea, so I left fairly empty handed.

Elevator. Don't get caught under one. It will push you under the ship/station/world and you will freefall into/onto the ground/space/under the world. Fun note, if you take lethal fall damage, it will not kill you as soon as you hit. I think it is possible to logout before you actually die to save your character from the damage.

Assets. Let's talk flooring first. The paved streets in the game would levitate so that you could not walk across them correctly. It seemed I always had to jump over the seems to keep moving by foot. The horse did not seem to be affected by this.
Then we have buildings. The structures are not optimized at all. When you get close to a later structure or a lot of assets in one place your FPS would tank. If you did this while it was raining then GG and may God have mercy on your soul.

Easy to exploit currency system. 1 power cell is all you need to get started. Find a quad/buggy add the power cell and gank all the items from the quad/buggy and you now made at least double your money. You can do this and pretty much buy all the materials you need from the vendors on land or the space station.

Encumbrance. When you are overloaded in weight, it was damn near impossible to enter stairs downwards inside any type of building. Also to fix this and carry as much as you wanted, just have a horse with you. They do not get effected by your weight.

There are a TON more bugs that I could talk about but my stream just shows them, so really no need to keep talking about them here.

Map. There is no map while on a planet. I wish there was, it would make looking for a place to settle up/claim a bit easier.

AI Mobs. They still dysync. Bears will get stuck on/in trees, walk backwards, do circles around said tree and then just stop like they are broken. The bugs in the game have no walking sound, so you have no idea they are on top of you before you are getting attacked. NPC characters in towns have a weird weight issue. The station dwellers etc., could move horses and mechs out of the way, but would stop when against you. Also it the horse was directly facing said dweller, it would stop them and they would have a staring contest of the ages. I also saw a couple of horses trying to procreate but they couldn't quite figure it out. They like to just stand on top of each other instead.

PC animations. The saw is buggy. If the log you are sawing on disappears, you get stuck in an endless animation until you could find another log to press F on to reset the animation.

Chat. There seems to be issues with chat. Sometimes it would lock my controls up and none of my keys would work. I would press I but that was it.

Random Grey screen. Pretty much that. Screen turned grey, so I had to hard reboot. Logged back in and the same grey screen greeted me and I couldn't do anything until I rebooted the game a third time.

------------------
Final words

I really could keep going on about the pros and cons of this game. If you like space and you like the homefront feeling, then you may like this game. If you want to support the devs because you think this game has potential then go for it. I did have a lot of fun while playing. The bugs were humorous. After I stopped trying to get over the bugs, the game became more enjoyable. If you understand that there WILL be bugs but you are ok with that and want to see what the game has to offer then go for it. I think I will play this game again in the near future, but for now this is not a game I can stream for quality content.

Dev Konstantin, thank you for the chance to re-review this game.

This has been by far the BEST waste of time I have ever encountered. I actually got my wife to let me take 24 hours to play this game. Finally no wife, no kids, no cleaning up poopy puppy messes. Thank you so much for taking my money. I LOVE the menu screen. I love seeing 0/150 per shard and clicking refresh and unable to join. I LOVE that I am now past the 2 hour mark to get a refund now because I was in high hopes to play.

Thank you so much...

TL;DR Grind resources, make a few items, open a portal, grind resources, make a few items, open a portal.

This is my first review. I am giving it a thumbs down because too many ppl give it a thumbs up. The short and skinny is, it's a good game for the money, but it needs a lot more work.

Pros:
Fluid game play. The controls are very easy to understand and the using 1st and 3rd person view was nice.
Mobs scale well for your level.
Bosses are unique.
Graphics are well done for what it is.
The skill point system works well.
Block placement system is great.
Portal system is a good concept.

Cons:
The grind man the grind. Unless your into that kinda stuff. At the time of this review I was teamed up with another friend and I have to say that out of my 42 hours in, close to 25-30 was grinding reourses.
The maps are WAY TO SMALL. I created the largest world you can have and it was stupid small. I didn't mind the fragmented areas but having to make land bridges to get from one island to another was boring.
Cost of creating items needs to be adjusted. Titanium is retarded for the price and the cost needed for most items was higher then it should of been. Either you need more ore to make a bar or you need less ore to make a bar and the item cost requires more. Don't do both.
The energy needed for some of the later tier items are too much. Again if you are a grinder I guess its not bad.
Worlds do not have enough resources. Honestly using the mining drill was the fastest way to collect everything in the game cause you can take out 4 blocks at the same time. AoE clearing where resources is more efficient at finding them then a pickaxe doing a single target block.

My wishlist:
Cost for item creation balanced out. Each tier needs to be adjusted.
More spells.
Ranger needs to be expanded on. Give them a compainion or something that follows or helps attack.
REGEN...Warriors should have inate HP regen, Mages mana regen, and maybe Rangers get a movement boost.
Set items are actually set items and give bonuses.
Do away with additional attacks and multistrike and readjust the combat damage.
Potions that are actually worth a darn, other then HP or Mana Pots.
Darkness isn't pitch black in some areas. Cosmic area is really bad inside the domes.
Bigger worlds with more resources.
Mining tools that are worth using.

Anywho this is my 2cents.
