good game. 5/7.

No but seriously, Cyberpunk is great. If you like RPG's, if you liked the Witcher games, if you liked Edgerunners and just want to explore the world - all good reasons to give it a try. Story is compelling, touching on some cool topics such as Cyberpsychosis. Not the best story you'll ever play, but if you immerse yourself in it, the ending(s) certainly packs a punch. I for one thoroughly enjoyed the story.
The experience as a whole definitely leaves some to be desired - no real police system, no vehicle combat (yet), not as many interactive spots or accessible buildings like bars or BD clubs as I would've liked. I don't expect to enter every building, but I would at least like to sit somewhere and let my character eat or drink. Combat is good, not great. I have the most fun with a blades build, so I would recommend that. Has a lot of potential with cyberware to be an interesting and diverse combat system, but like many aspects of the game, it falls a bit short. All in all, combat is enjoyable, but it's not on the same level as many AAA titles. Stealth is definitely encouraged.
Regardless, I have nearly 500 hours logged and to this day I'm learning new things about the game and finding new places. I know many people knock the game for having unused parts of the map. I've never found this to be an issue. For me, the world is what keeps me coming back. Night City is incredibly dense and full of attention to detail. Some areas feel underutilized (Badlands), but never really dull. In short, if you're interested in exploring a cool world, it's worth trying for that alone.
I have high hopes that continuing updates and the coming DLC will make this game what it was intended to be. As it stands, the game is great, but could always be better. Keep the updates coming, CDPR. (Also, mods are awesome and help with a lot of issues.)
