Amazing fan made SFM content

This is a review of MW2, because that's the only one I can even remotely take seriously. I honestly think this is the best game Activision & Infinity Ward have put out for the Modern Warfare series, however because of the glaring issues with pretty much everything that doesn't have to do with the core mechanics of the game, I cannot recommend this game.

Everything about the gameplay is solid and they've managed to create a fun and great experience, for all skill levels. However, I must say there are three major fundamental issues with this game.

1. The servers are among the worst I've seen in any triple a game to date. It is absolutely horrendous. I would trust a 12 year old minecraft youtuber to run a server before I'd trust Infinity Ward and Activision. The game has constant server side issues, and the latency is god awful for an FPS game. What good is the fantastic gameplay when bullets go through people, and you get shot seemingly around corners, because you're in a different place on your screen than you are on the enemies. This completely ruins the gameplay, and it's by far the most public issue, pretty much everyone i know who plays this game has voiced their concerns about this.

2. Their battlepass system is the most intrusive out of any game. When you play other games, they don't force you into a screen after every single match that shows you all the locked rewards you don't care about. Activision has a habit of forcing this stuff down peoples throat, and it's ridiculous, especially for a game they charged you 70 dollars for.

3. Going off the last thing i said, 70 dollars for a video game is an absolutely insane pricepoint, there are 10 dollar games more polished with better servers. Fix your servers before your charge your people a highway robbery and then push microtransactions in peoples face like you're a mobile game.

Has a chance to become the game that leads the industry for this coming decade, and eclipse the games of the old decade. We will see if this actually happens though. I have my doubts, but so far it's looking like the best multiplayer competitive game made in a while. However I must address the bad sides as well. The wars are not really fun after the first 10 times, it gets repetitive, and the late game content is incredibly boring
