TL;DR if you were interested enough to scroll this far on the page, then this game is for you. Plus its only 5 bucks and 40 Mb, so just get it already.

Such a nice little treat to come back to and mess with for a bit at the end of a work day. Fishlets plays similar to the classic Insaniquarium, though more grounded.

If that last part means nothing to you then heres the gist:

Adventure mode, this is where youll play through levels or "tanks" and where youll spend some time unlocking the various fish to be had in the other mode. This section is adequate, though not quite as gamey as insaniquarium was, youll have the same choice of a small medium and large fish which basically act the same but drop different amounts of money. The money you earn in the level gets you more fish, better food, some unique "pets" and ultimately the ticket to move on to the next tank. Completing one section of levels unlocks some fish for the idle mode.

My Tanks, now this is where this game shines above and beyond what insaniquarium did. You have the choice of decorating and placing various fresh or saltwater fish in up to 8 tanks. The choices here are very nice with lots of plants and corals, critters, fish of many sizes. Each fish (as long as its requirements are met) will generate money for the my tank mode passively. This will be a treat for any idle game enjoyers.

Ultimately, this is a very nice addition to the aquarium game scene and i cant wait to see where this game can go with active development.
