First of all, actual playtime is like 60 hours.

Star Wars Outlaws is a prime example of everything wrong with current AAA game development. Here we have a game that turned out to be absolutely fantastic, but it needed almost a year of patches to get there.

Outlaws is another in a long line of disappointing major releases, where the reason for said disappointment is simply poor management. Here you have a licensed open world game in the Star Wars franchise, a guaranteed smash hit surely, but you release it half done with weird limitations and frustrating design.

Outlaws after all the patches is an excellent, high quality, highly entertaining good old Star Wars romp with charm and wit. It deserved a sequel.

But, due to Ubisoft being rather incapable of making good decisions, we will not see that. It is a shame, for Massive have created an actual sympathetic character in Kay, and it felt like the end was just the start of an excellent trilogy.

Here's to hoping less good AAA projects get wasted in the future due to idiotic management.

Absolutely stellar 10/10 open world RPG just like the first one. Except prettier, bigger, much more stable. Polished and well worth paying full price for.

If you love Morrowind or Oblivion, look no further.

I recommend this game for it's combat, difficulty settings (customizable to a perfect degree) and gorgeous visuals. The writing is truly horrendous, some of the worst I have ever endured in an AAA game. It sounds like it is written for kids, I can't fathom how they ended up with this incredibly non-offensive basic tween Hollywood drivel. And yeah, I am one of those woke bastards that don't start immediately raging seeing pronoun options. That is not the issue at all.

The themes and events are dark, but the characters barely react to horrific things. It's like Peppa Pig but there's fantasy and violent combat. "Oh no oh geez, my friend is pierced by tentacles and slowly bleeding to death. Aw shucks! Anyway, let's go on having fun!!". It's impressive how hard the committe obviously writing this game tried to just be as basic as possible.

A small story plus for a certain someone that is my forever videogame crush returning hotter than ever, with a voice actor that obviously read the script and said "this is complete garbage, I will improvise" and immediately is therefore more likable and deeper than any main character.

Another technical masterpiece from Saber, featuring their absolutely world class Swarm Engine that runs 1000 times better than any stuttering Unreal garbage.

Looks amazing, runs ridiculously well and most importantly is a blast to play.
