Great combat and 'finisher move' animation, the game is very short though, took about 5h on hard with all the trophies. It is a nice change of pace if you come from other game genres, being a hack and slash with a lot of dash ability and a variety of combos and move sets.

Some fights could end up in stun lock to death or in a laser that will multi-hit you, a bit annoying but the scenarios do not repeat too often.

The game has some nice quirks to the Narrator vs Player scripts and action.

Something to pick up on a discount if you just want to feel like a ninja for a few hours.

Great visuals, BGM, and controls are well done for this genre of multi-management characters genre (Lost Viking, Trine), with fluid animations.

It has this old-school, restart at last save upon death concept, I would appreciate at least some checkpoint, where it might take you a while for a puzzle and explore, and then die before reaching a Save. But for crucial points, boss fight, a Save is nearby.

Puzzles are well-designed and not too far-fetched, some items are missable with story progression or reaching a point of no return (i.e: the shop item). I tend to re-explore near the end game once you have most of the power-up, abilities, etc.

Items Inventory could be better with Quest Item, each character can have it in their slot, but it won't tally the total, i.e Fill 3 bottles, Greak had 2, Adara 1, but the NPC would not have the complete option until one character held all 3.

The Map network opens up well with various paths and shortcuts as you progress. The main objectives are not as linear, giving you the freedom to set your own goal, though some areas are easier if you follow the recommended path. Also with various upgrades and weapon types, the replayability is there.

The start can be a bit rough for some new to the genre, where the death penalty could be troublesome, with lower Max HP, loss of currency, and a potentially long path back depending on your last save point.

Hidden items are well placed along your path, not impossible if one pays attention to the environment.

Though once, past the early game, it becomes a fetch quest where the fast travel is disabled and backtracking could be tedious and is the majority of the game with some side mini-bosses.
