Until Then is a beautiful story about loss, acceptance, and healing. I normally dont play these types of games but when i saw Overwhelmingly Positive I looked through the reviews and liked what i saw. And i must say this game delivered, what i thought was going to be a surface level experience made me think introspectively like i never have before, and even managed to get a few tears out of me.

Something i will note is that this game takes roughly 20 hours to play, so if you do decide to pick it up and you find yourself done at the 10-15 hour mark (depending on how many times you just left the game running in the background) just know you absolutely are not done. This game, as far as i can tell is an on rails narrative, so if you arent at that 20 hour mark you quite literally are not done with the full narrative aspect of the game. Keep that in mind when you look at reviews with only like 10 hours on them.

There are a few gripes i have however, the piano minigame is incredibly inconsistent, youll press a key on the exact same timing and sometimes itll miss, be great, or be perfect, sometimes when you press a key and theres a hold right after it the hold will jump up and youll miss it. That and the minigame is quite infrequent, i wish it was used more often despite the quirks as the first time you are given it at a significant narrative moment. Another complaint i have is that the background sounds are often too loud for the scene, the gym ac fans stick out in my mind, if you just put the SFX down to like 20 percent though it fixes it.

This game is great though, give it a shot, and its only 20 bucks too, a steal for what it gives.

And just a note if any of the devs read these, i really like the approach you took with the ending, its not the cliche i expected, and i think it perfectly matches the message of the game, yall knocked it out of the park.

Put it this way, robocraft was quite possibly the most fun id ever had with a game back before they completely changed the core mechanics. Some point to lootboxes, some point to multi weapon builds, i point to when they changed the blocks from tiers with increasing health, to just leveling up. I have so many fond memories of this game, from me and my best friend creating a medic flier duo that would solo keep our team up, to us experimenting and creating new designs with plasma launchers from orbit. There was so much creativity and a supprising amount of technical knowhow to create good crafts. You had to think about component placement, armor, balancing speed and resistance, but none of that apparantly matters now. It literally makes my chest pang when i think about all the fun i had, and the fact that i can never go back to it. Every time i scroll past this game in my library i yearn to go back and replay that same old game... but this isnt it. Freejam went the way of greed, pushing premium lootboxes and favoring new players over the existing playerbase, which is a catastrophically stupid idea. I can only hope that these were decisions forced by incompetent suits who were just greedy, because the alternative, that the devs themselves saw what they had made and then decided to stab the players that were loyal in the back, is quite hard to bare.

This is a difficult rate. Ive played through episode 1 and 2, and am now mid way in episode 3. If youve been looking for a starwars game, this will do. However, it is a bad lego game. When i think back to the last three starwars lego games, the complete saga, the trilogy, and starwars 3, the first thing i notice is the lack of puzzles. Puzzles in lego games were a staple of the franchise, little things that always kept you thinking, but they are almost non existant in this game. Thats not to say that the skywalker saga is a bad game, its good, but if you go into it with the expetation of the last three, and their story style, you will be dissapointed. Another thing ive noticed that is super off putting is how much time they put into the story of starwars. The key moments are there, but they are short. If i wasnt super well versed in the lore of the franchise id be supper confused constantly with how quick they want to move the story along. Key moments are cut short, and i feel if they had just extended the cutscenes to be a little longer, just by maybe 10 seconds, the weight of the story could have been more expressed. But onto the good. The game is openworld-ish. There are tons of places that you can walk around in, like the open segments of new games, except on every major planet and area within the story of starwars. The characters sound amazing, near identical to their film and cartoon counterparts. Little bits of dialogue while youre escorting people are a nice touch too, and i think thats one of the main complaints people have, the escorting. And i think the reason people have that problem is because every lego starwars game before this, the cutscene took out the middle part of walking to and fro, however this is, for better or worse, open world, so you actually have to go between areas. YOU actually have to hop in a ship and pick which planet to go to, you have to navagate between the different levels of corosaunt. And if you go into this thinking itll just hurry you along, youll probably be caught off guard.
I will update this when i get deeper into/finish the game, but as of right now, this game is a yes from me. Sure it has its problems, and sure some things are lacking. But its lego starwars, and if youre a fan of the franchise, youll like it.

Imagine the most ham fisted, boring, amy schumer style comedy, thats kid friendly, and throw it in lego gta. And you get this game. Literally none of the gags are funny, because there are just so damn many, and heres the thing, they never actually finish the gag, like plenty of times i left a cutscene thinking, "this would have actually gotten a chuckle if it didnt just wave off the punchline". Example real early on (I only have a hour) you get a grappling hook, in the cutscene to get it you talk to this forest ranger, and side note, i get that country accent is suppost to = funny, but dude, this game overdoes it. But anyways he is fishing when you walk up to him, and he tosses his fishing rod to a squirrel, good settup to a decent joke so far. You talk to him while the squirrel does antics with a fish that its reeling in in the background, then the ranger describes this "small" mouth bass that hes been trying to catch, and lo and behold its the same one the squirrel just caught. Chase McSexy Cain stutters, and youd think the natural ending to this would be for the guy to turn around, see the fish hes been trying to catch all this time, and do some cool antic with the squirrel who caught it, but no, the fish just jumps, and eats the squirrel, dissapearing. All that settup for literally nothing, and that describes basically every interaction ive had so far in the game. I cant speak for anything past misson two, but its just so boring. The character dialogue doesnt flow, instead it reads like a play where the characters are waiting for a specific end to start their dialogue, leaving a small but non inconquencal gap. Oh god and the dialogue, i feel like lego should have just stuck to the mumble. Every character, no mater the circumstance, or enviroment, sounds like they are just yelling. Basic conversations now sound as if theye taking place over a large distance, but in gameplay the characters are only like 3 feet apart. Sure the game might get fun later on, but these breaks, and just issues overall mean i cant stand to stick it out, and id rather just refund it and get a lego game based on a franchise, because at least those have some sort of direction to help the devs out.

Ive played this game a bit, on and off, even put some extra money into it. I dont reccomend it. Server connection is abysmial, controlls are extremely iffy, and the game is missing tons of features. To elaborate let me tell you a story. I get into a battle after about 15-20 minutes of waiting in que, breathing a sigh of relief i load in, pick my character, only to see the game put me in the late stages of a losing battle, cool. Try to deploy, map zooms in as if im deploying, then zooms back out, repeat 3 times. Finally it lets me spawn, the moment my invisibilty runs out i die, repeat several times. Finally i manage to get away, i go to a bridge near by to see if i can find any unsuspecting enemies, and here comes a tank, an open back tank (this is important). Seeing a moment of oportunity i carefully wait, letting enemy soldiers walk and run past, biding my time, untill here it is, the tank is crossing the bridge with 2 men running beside it. I make my move, shoot both men, hop on top of the tank expecting to be able to shoot into the back of it killing the crew, and what do i find, literally nothing. The player models dont exist inside tanks, so openbacks like that are completely free of any worry from shots behind them. For a game so intent on creating a realistic experience, why the hell isnt this in the game? A great moment, a epic story, turned to utter dissapointment and frustration, because the oversight of the devs. Add a battlepass but cant fix the game they are promoting, pass on this one, play literally any other major shooters, Squad, Hell let loose (maybe), hell even arma3 does it better, and more fun.

Fun Tactical Game, developers listen to the playerbase when making changes to the game, for the most part balanced.

This game... My god this game, it is horrible. Not only does its max graphics tank my pc, which can run gta full settings at 60fps, but it is extremely annoying. Zombies will spawn on top of you and random groups of ai will appear behind a random bush and just mow you down. This game is very special in the fact that it thinks it is worth $10, its worth maybe half of a dollar atm. Yah i could see it improving, if it cleaned up its optimization and decided to clean up its graphics, not have the ai blend into everything and add a bit more bloom, yah it would be fun. But right now, just play it during the free weekend then delete it.

Not saying this is a problem, but, if you just get the demo you basically have everything in the game.

I would love to see a addition to this game that supports PS/Xbox controllers, as of right now, you need a actuall drone controler, but i have tried to mess arround with drones before, and the make no damn sense to me, i much rather the PS controler that i converted to fly my drone, it works so much better, and for fps players, it is so much simplier to fly drones with their controllers, overall, i couldn't get the game to work, im assuming it was off of the fact that i didn't have a proper controler conected, so i would love for this to be controler supported.
