Reus 2 is a great game that you can play for less than an hour, but makes you think you spent like double or triple the time in it.

The theme of the game is that of a creator trying to create a planet where things coexist with each other. You can create from three different categories (plant, animal, or mineral) and try to mix and match them in a biome to expand your people's cities

The game is all about synergy. In order to fulfill the game's challenges and move in to the next era, you must learn (and compromise) how to have your categories coexist with each other (or not, there are some setups that respect this). Doing so gives you more points to fulfill goals, and in turn giving you access to drafts which allow you to expand the things you can put in your planet

TLDR: game's great. It's a good game to play at short bursts and it rewards you for proper placement of stuff. Horizon draft is hell though

Pathfinder: Kingmaker is an ambitious game that tries to bring out the beauty that is the pen and paper games of old, in to the digital age of video games and, while it does not stack up to the forefront of the CRPGs such as Baldur's Gate, it does it's best to show why the genre got famous in the first place.

I would recommend buying this game currently (November 2019) as the game has been polished enough that the sizable amount of bugs of yore have been fixed, albeit awkward spell interactions at times.

Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists is a spin-off of the Atelier series of games that focuses less on the crafting part and more on the administration of the alchemists' item crafting.

You play as Nelke, an aristocrat who has no talent in alchemy, but is a competent government official. Due to a series of certain events, she is involved with alchemists from the different games from the Atelier series.

However, like what I've mentioned before, do not expect this game to have the same formula as the other Atelier games as this game is more concerned in the administration of Nelke's town rather than item crafting. Administration includes item gathering, construction of buildings, material gathering (in bulk for the majority of it) circulation of goods, and finally, item crafting that your alchemists do for you.

Gameplay wise, you will spend more time book balancing than combat as you progress through the game. The combat is terribly simplistic even for Atelier game standards and majority of the crafted items are used more as your town's products rather than your characters' equipment. The main pull of the game is the characters and their interactions with each other as the game has characters that spans through the whole Atelier series franchise (including spinoffs) starting from Marie (of Atelier Marie) to the latest one (when this was made), Lydie and Suelle.

TLDR:
For fans who are looking to play the authentic Atelier games series, this game would not be for you. It doesn't have the mechanics of the usual atelier games, and it focuses on something way more different. However, for people who just want to read side stories of their favourite characters the series, I would suggest you give this a try when it's on sale (if it goes on sale) as the interactions of characters spanning the whole series are entertaining to say the least.

What can I say. It's a game of conquest, intrigue, and strategic planning to make sure you stand on top in this game of characters. You start off as a noble of your picking and depending on your decisions, you can be an exalted emperor of the European World, or fodder for the bigger kingdoms.

One thing's for sure though, this game is not for everyone but, even then, it's one hell of a game.

Edit: Now with holy fury, the game's better than ever
