This is the only hidden object game I've owned and it was nice.
A couple of puzzles weren't solved even though everything was in the proper place, but it let's you skip them so it's no big deal.
I enjoyed the visuals but I muted the game because I was listening to a podcast, so no comment on the audio.

Only supports XInput controllers, so go buy it on some other platform.

Alright, after only a few years of owning, I finally played it and beat it and was delighted.
You don't usually play shmups for the story, but you will want to beat the next level just for the next chapter.
While the art and story are excellent, what pushes this over the top however, is the music. It fits, it is moving.

I'm sure a game controller would be fine, but first I used a stick, but I admit I used a mouse for the last level.
It's just that I still find myself unable to easily accept the notion of not having the entire ship be the hitbox.

It provides challenge that I think even non-shmup gamers will like and its an experience of which shmup fans should partake.

By the time I reached the end of normal mode I became proficient in the mechanics so I began to crave that rhythm and killing multiple enemies at a time. Final cutscene not worth it, the final scene is not even worth playing normal mode, and you have to beat every extra mode to unlock the true ending. Naturist Mode is censored. Challenging; apparently addictive once you beat it the first time. Decent music, genuinely like the boss music. Pleasant sound effects.
"Highly detailed pixel-art graphics" is just, not really close to correct, as you can see from the screenshots, but graphics are fine. If you like platformers, then five bucks is fine, if you are expecting Mario or Rayman, then you're nuts expecting that for five dollars.

This game is not necessarily a waste of your time. Since it's free you should definitely play it just for the story mode. Wizard/Stainless had one job. Make a collectible card game(a 'CCG', if you want a TCG play cardboard Magic or MTGO). They have failed, by definition of CCG.
You can't collect all the cards from the Origins set, and they've said that future expansions won't include all the cards either. I did not expect to have every Magic card ever made, that would be far more work than I would consider viable.

I expected, wanted desperately, to play Magic: The Gathering. This is not Magic, you can tell because it doesn't have the cards you need. They even have the gall to put cards into the single player campaign (which is pretty fun and close to real MTG) but not into circulation. So it is not laziness on their part, it was a choice. It is not a choice I can respect. It is a choice meant to, I don't know. Presumably usher you toward 'real' Magic.

Dear WotC, if I had the time and patience and money to play MTG, I would already be playing MTG.

So ultimately I suppose I am not the target demographic and it does not satisfy my needs nor was it intended to do so. However, assuming they are going for newbies, well, play the tutorials and campaign and find out if Magic is for you. If you stay with this program longer, you will come up against limitations within a week.

edit: I HAVE NOT PLAYED CO-OP (feel free to friend me and fix that)

$10 is ~$2 too much. The most important cutscene is broken (which matters because the story and music is quite good), had to look it up on youtube. Simple gameplay. Length is good.

Excellent, well-balanced team-based shooter with military sci-fi aesthetic.
