It would've been decent as maybe a standalone game, or even a free DLC — at most a \$15 DLC. I cannot believe that instead of getting another proper DLC for \ELDEN RING™\, we got one of the worst roguelikes ever made by FromSoftware. I'd honestly rather play \Dark Souls 2\ than this.

\It took community backlash and review bombing for the devs to cave and announce duos in a future update. This feature should have been in the game at launch. People were already complaining about this during the network test — which I unfortunately didn't get to sign up for.

\The relic system had good intentions but failed in execution. As it currently stands (unless a patch has already fixed it — or I'm just unlucky), the system is flawed. Dying or completing expeditions usually gives junk.

While you can sell relics for Murk, I really wish there was a system to upgrade or combine them. You often sit on a small red relic like "HP recovery on attack," which is great early on but becomes obsolete when you find a better one with multiple buffs. There's no way to transfer or enhance relics meaningfully.

Also, why aren't there relics that give the same cool effects you find during expeditions? Things like \ice storms on surge sprints\ or \lava trails while walking\ would make relics far more exciting.

\I get that this is FromSoft's first multiplayer-focused game, but the matchmaking is a mess. Each remembrance has its own queue — awful design. My friend and I once waited nearly an hour just for him to finish his Revenant Remembrance.

There’s even a rumor that breaking a chair in Roundtable Hold causes floating debris that messes with queue times. If true — how did that pass testing? Other bugs I encountered:

* Aggro inconsistency with Guardian’s relic ("more likely to be targeted while guarding")
* Cutscene bugs on the final night (black screen, warped in front of the door)
* Shifting Earths can’t be triggered after beating the final boss — which locks out achievements

\ELDEN RING was criticized for bosses with erratic, delayed attacks. Unfortunately, \every boss in Night Reign is that x10\.

Worst offender: \Equilibrious Beast\ (Expedition 5). He has a slam attack like Margit’s delay slash but worse. It has a lingering air hitbox that stun-locks you. His weakness is madness — yet RNG often screws you with no madness camps or gear. Good luck without buffs.

Did they even test these bosses with anyone besides \Recluse\ and \Ironeye\? Many just fly away or run constantly, making melee builds suffer.

Also: almost all Nightlords have AOE insta-kill moves. No clue how you’re supposed to deal with \Night Aspect’s\ moves solo, let alone \Auger’s sleep nuke\.

\I expected fully randomized maps each run. Instead, we get shuffled POI locations. That’s it. It’s just Elden Ring — but reshuffled.

Enemy variety is lacking too. It’s just recycled content. The \blue fire Fortnite circle\ is also annoying, often pushing you to worse areas and ruining your route — especially early on.

\The game is \decent\ — but not worth \$40. Grab it on a \deep sale\, and bring \two friends\. Solo runs are pure CBT.

On the bright side: the soundtrack is pretty good. I’ll need to replay it at higher volume since I usually keep it low to hear friends on Discord.

got vac banned for no reason at all.... i wouldnt recommend it tho because of all the hackers running around and the sweatys using p06s... i also bought this game for custom zombies but thats dead aswell and for some reason people find it amusing to make a multiplayer map when multiplayer is dead anyway... the only game mode people ever play is tdm
