Honestly, there is lots of (good and bad) things to say about this game, but every update the devs bring, just caters to P2W players more and more, while the regular daily players continue to suffer. Every new update causes massive rifts in power between old and new players, and not even giving anyone to catch up. Game expects you to pay $100 daily/weekly/monthly to raise in power. Now, they removed an important power resource (awakening stone) from a coin shop that you could farm weekly, and made it cost 1000x in game currency, while decreasing the number of purchases from weekly to monthly as well.

Horrible devs, for a game that should have never had a p2w shop in the first place.

I miss the old Secret World. Combat was better. User Experience was better. Now its story and world exploration is the only reason you should play this game, and they are GOOD. There is a living world out there, no matter how dead it looks from the player count. You can visit Kingsmouth and feel like you have spent a summer there before.

Are you a fan of late 2000s action/sci-fi/fantasy movies? Or B-Movies in general? This game is the embodiment of 2008 in playable form. Please, if you are a fan of mythology, do yourself a favor and play through this game. Most of the reviewers seem to be spoiled by the 2020s game engines, forgetting the fact that this is a 13 year old game.

Don't mind my playtime. I have played this game before when it first released. I just picked it up on Steam for the nostalgia of my childhood, and my god, I got it. I had forgotten most of the dialogue, which is the only bad thing I can see. It is just... too much on the nose, at least in the early game. The dialogue does not do "Show, don't tell." It sometimes tells you what is happening while it is happening in gameplay. That might give cold shoulder to some, but please go through with it.

The engine is actually good, and AI is intelligent. Enemy humans speak to the Main Character as they hunt him down. All enemy have Aim Assist, and can be over powered even on normal difficulty. Don't worry. You have aim assist as well, and you can be OP at times. Its gun mechanics are fun, but recoil during a werefolf attack can create awkward situations.

Legendary is a must play for any mythology fan. It is full of cliches, and the game is self aware of itself.

As a remastered edition of an `old` game, Darksiders is still better than many of the `modern` ARPGs. The amazing visuals is next to nothing when compared with its in-depth story telling. The voice acting is top-notch and the game should be played by everyone who likes mythology and religion.

My only complaint? After going the trouble of finding the 10 Abyssal Armor pieces, WAR's cinematic costume is still the original clothing. Not putting his new suit in cinematics makes me think "What the hell did they remastered WARMASTERED then?"

PS: Last Abyssal Armor piece is
