To be honest, as a Critical Role fan, I still went into Dispatch expecting a mediocre game along the lines of Telltale's last releases before its shutdown. Boy am I glad to have been wrong. This one sits right up there with Tales from the Borderlands as one of the best cyoa games ever made. It has amazing visuals, voice directions, story, and most importantly, your choices matter. I am very excited to see where AdHoc studios goes from here. What a first game.

This game is truly one of a kind. It tells a (satirical) tale of hopelessly fighting in the name of something that doesn't even really exist. It allows you to take out as many cool toys you want, and then get hopelessly squashed by unending enemies. Some of the best moments I've ever had in gaming come from the interactions I've had with the random people I am queued up with.

And yet, I still cannot recommend this game in its current state. So much of the difficulty comes not from the enemies, but from the instability of the game itself. I hardly go 3 matches before crashing, and it is not uncommon for you to set up a choke-point only for an enemy to clip through a wall to kill you. Never mind that some of the time you do not even have game audio to hear those wall-clipping enemies. Until Arrowhead fixes these issues I do not recommend picking this game up.

Oh, Stardew. One of the most relaxing games, if not the most relaxing game, I have ever played. Every time I open up the game, I get immersed into a world full of magic and wonder and love that keeps me wanting more. My favorite farm is currently the mining preset because I love the natural beauty of the world. Leah for life. 10/10

This game is a beautiful take on the traditional dating genre. The story gripped me and I couldn't help but form a deep bond with every character who I spoke with. 10/10 Would play again.

Early Access Review
Slay the Spire is the perfect example of a well executed early access title. The core game itself is a great genre combination (turn based combat, card, and roguelike) that is incredibly fun and engaging to play despite the low, methodical nature of the game. The devolopers are always interacting with the players and bringing refreshing content and balancing in order to ensure that the game never goes awry. This game could be priced at $30 and it would still be worth every penny.
