Welcome to The Last of Us™ Part II Remastered

A return to one of the most intense and emotionally powerful stories in gaming.

The remaster brings a noticeable boost in visual quality. Lighting, textures, animations, and overall sharpness make the world feel even more grounded and atmospheric. Performance is smooth, and the upgraded presentation fits the game’s detailed environments perfectly. The new No Return mode adds a fresh layer of replayability with fast, tense combat encounters, offering something different from the main story while still staying true to the game’s style.

The narrative remains the strongest part of the experience. It’s emotional, well-acted, and delivered with incredible facial animation and sound design. Combat is still brutal, responsive, and weighty, and the remastered version makes everything feel more polished. Extra features such as developer commentary, behind-the-scenes footage, and accessibility updates help round out the package.

Some pros:
  • Visual upgrades bring stronger detail and atmosphere
  • No Return mode adds fun, replayable challenge
  • Outstanding acting, animation, and sound
  • Story remains emotionally impactful and expertly delivered
  • Extra content gives more insight into the game’s development

Some cons:
  • Pacing may feel uneven to some players
  • Gameplay additions are limited
  • Returning players may not find the upgrade essential for the price
  • Female character designs feel overly androgynous.
    1. Flat chests, no female features/ lacks traditional feminine body features
    2. male characters appear less physically imposing than a few of the female characters
Noteworthy Mention:
The remaster feels like the definitive way to experience Part II. If you didn’t play the original release, this version is the clear choice. Returning players will enjoy the improvements, but the value depends on how much they want the new mode and visual upgrades.

Wrapping up:
The Last of Us Part II Remastered delivers a more polished, complete, and visually improved version of an already ambitious game. Its storytelling, atmosphere, and emotional depth remain top-tier, and the added content gives fans more to explore. A strong recommendation for new players, and a solid upgrade for those wanting the best version available.

Explore the Wonders of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora

Welcome to Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, where the visually mesmerizing world of Pandora awaits exploration.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora dazzles with its stunning graphics, immersing you in the vibrant, breathtaking world of Pandora. Explore lush landscapes and uncover the secrets of this mesmerizing world. Dive into a visual feast and discover the wonders that await! While the game is visually stunning and held the potential to be my game of the year, it falls short in terms of enjoyment. It lacks any exciting new features and feels reminiscent of the Far Cry series in terms of movement and play style, a franchise that has never particularly resonated with me.

Some pros:
  • Visuals are stunning and breathtaking.
  • World immerses with rich environments.
  • Encourages deep exploration and discovery.
  • Skillfully bridges between Avatar's world, offering a seamless experience.
The detailed environments and landscapes make exploring Pandora a visually delightful experience.

Some cons:
  • Innovation lacks in game design.
  • Combat feels repetitive and dull.
  • Draws comparisons to Far Cry.
  • Quests lack excitement and engagement.
I didn't enjoy playing the game after becoming familiar with the world.
Noteworthy Mention:

Ubisoft launched Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora with a substantial 40% discount, yet its regular price, especially the 130 euro for the ultimate edition I purchased, remains exorbitant. Their recent game pricing trends have been notably high. I initially bought the game at its full price of 150 euros on Ubisoft's platform, only to find the value disappointing.
Initially unsure about recommending Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, I leaned towards recommending it due to its significant 40% discount and its visually stunning presentation.

Wrapping up, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora dazzles with its stunning visuals and immersive world design, yet it may not fully satisfy those seeking innovative gameplay. For fans of the Avatar universe and visually rich games, it offers a compelling experience, although there are some aspects that might leave them wanting more in terms of gameplay depth and innovation. Disclaimer - I obtained the game at 38 euros as part of a reviewer's deal.

PalWorld a Whimsical World

Welcome to the enchanting realm of PalWorld, where the boundaries between thrilling Third-person action and the joys of creature farming blur into a delightful world.

In PalWorld, the gameplay is a dynamic dance between heart-pounding combat and the peaceful art of creature farming. Engage in adrenaline-fueled battles, utilizing an arsenal of weapons and your loyal Pals. Alternatively, immerse yourself in the enchanting farming aspect, where you can nurture, breed, and harvest resources from your adorable companions. The choice is yours – a symphony of action or the soothing rhythm of cultivation awaits in this captivating gaming experience.

The game's design, ensuring you face challenges at your skill level, adds a layer of strategic depth and keeps the excitement tailored to your abilities. It's this dynamic difficulty that makes every encounter a rewarding experience, fostering a sense of accomplishment as you progress through the game.

Some pros:
  • Well balanced between TPS and Creature farming.
  • Has Dynamic Difficulty, World adjust to your lvl.
  • Great creature designs, and elements.
  • Just the right amount of strategic gameplay.
  • Beautifully simple yet intricately designed world;
    1. Elegance meets thoughtful craftsmanship.

Some cons:
  • The multiplayer function falls short of expectations.
  • Substantial resource grind. (double-edged sword both positive as well as negative aspects)
  • Limited Variety in Environments noticeable during extended play.
  • Some early access hiccups;
    1. Notable amount of graphical glitches and animation issues.
    2. Quest-related bugs. (quests failing to progress).
    3. As with many other early access games, PalWorld is not exempt from occasional crashes.
Noteworthy Mention:
  • Prolonged Leveling
  • Acceptable price, great release deal OFF10%

I enjoy PalWorld as it proves to be a fantastic time consumer with its engaging blend of action and creature farming. The game manages to captivate my attention and provide an immersive experience.
It's worth noting the clever integration of creature capturing and farming mechanics, reminiscent of popular titles like Pokémon. Surprisingly, despite the similarities, PalWorld stands on its own, avoiding legal issues.

- I received the game at a special price of €10(euros)

I really enjoyed wasting my time on this game, in the best way possible!

(I do actually recommend this game!)
Buy now while on discount, not worth full price!

I recon the negative reviews, are mostly justified assuming they paid the full price.

I got the game at a great discount of €9.5,- (nine and a half euro) for the Precious Edition, at this price level I will have to say this is a great game for the price!
-
It is nothing new, nothing to write home about, nothing in this game will make you go WOW that's awesome.
However I played the game for about 8 hours straight, no brakes, time ticked away faster than a New York minute, and as an old quote says:

And I did indeed enjoy wasting my time on this game with all its flaws and everything else.
  • Yes there were some crashes
  • Yes sometimes the movement felt horrendous
  • Yes at some points the game was straight up too easy
  • Yes graphics were somewhat outdated
  • Yes some basic game settings are missing
  • Yes there were quite some bugs to encounter
Yet I enjoyed the game, I leaned back and started exploring the game, i toke my time didn't rush just relaxed.

Around the 8th hour I started to get bored, but if you consider the price of €9.5 euros that's lesser than what a single drink on a night out would cost me, it's lesser than a bus ticket to the city and home, it is money well spent on a pleasantly relaxing game.

This game is certainly not for everyone !

I have not played the game after latest update, and have no opinion on newly added features.

For me this was a €20,-(euro) game, that gave me:
  • A lot of ғʀᴜsᴛʀᴀᴛɪɴɢ hours of gameplay, as there are no tutorial

  • A few good but ɴᴇʀᴠᴇ ᴡʀᴇᴄᴋɪɴɢ moments as I discovered and encountered AI

  • And most of all a lot of ᴄᴏɴғᴜsɪᴏɴ trying to understand game mechanics

  • At last i got a couple of ᴀᴍᴜsɪɴɢ hours of playing the game

While I wouldn't recommend this game for my self, it truly is a great game, featuring a good extraction based gameplay.
Movement feels good both in-person and when flying.

Some pros:
  • Good flying and movement mechanics.
  • Great combat mechanics.
  • Fantastic realism of health/ bullets to kill ratio.
  • Well designed maps and ways to enter maps.
  • Good (but confusing) Weapons and gear features.
  • Well throughout trading system.

Some cons:
  • No training ground.
  • No story mode.
  • No real tutorial other than a youtube video.
  • No skill based matchmaking.
  • No single player lobby option.
  • Lots of minor bugs.
  • Over 15 minutes cool down after each raid.
  • Confusing gear setup, gear information +scrapping +crafting.

Some of the bugs:
Not being able to move mouse in-game, not getting loot, escape pods not opening.

Game has progressed quite a bit. Hopefully they keep working on it, find more ways to expand and bring features and modes that fits a bigger audience.

I find the price of €30,-(euro) quite alright
I would say €25,-(euro) would be more acceptable.

I would love to see some deals at around €15,-(euro), at €10,-(euro) it would be a steal !

wish they had official servers with no raids - so your base is your safe haven. only 1 base allowed pr player/ group size don't matter. 1 cupboard pr player which would limit base sizes.

for me this is no fun never got to finish a single base before it has been destroyed.

never been able to get a full load-out before gettin' slaughtered.

I do somewhat enjoy the game but with only 1 way of playing official i can not recommend this, if you enjoy the hardcore fight not being able to finish your build without getting attacked by AK's and or rockets then sure go for it... but i think they should offer more ways to play this game, and also adjust wipes with more options servers of up to maybe 50 players.

Before i can recommend this game there need to be more options for the player to choose from so we all can enjoy the experience we want.

Feels like it just went went 10 back in time and bought a low-mid ranged game, With tons of cutscenes and Bucky gameplay.

The graphics are the worst I have seen in a long time it is unplayable on a mid-range computer on anything but low settings.

My system runs on a i9-10900k custom water cooled with 21 fans GPU 1060TI 6gb it runs most games on 4K(3840 × 2160) with High settings... But with this game I cannot run anything but low settings without getting a really buggy game play and huge lag spikes.

I can in no way just fight the price of this game and therefore cannot recommend it for anyone to buy...
A discounted price for let's say 30 bucks for the deluxe edition would be durable but you need at least a 3060 to run this game.

I had high expectation and high hopes for this game but sadly it is simply unplayable for me I hope to see more PlayStation games in the future, but for those games I expect them to be more optimized when released to PC.

consider lower prices on your old games to get better reviews and not as much critique.
70euros is simply too much for this game.

Hopefully you have seen how much steam users wants your games on their platform
by paying you this overpriced for all your games lately..

Hopefully this will encourage you to release new games on steam at a way faster rate than your turn right now.

Unravel the Mysteries of Hogwarts Legacy

Step into Hogwarts Legacy, where the wizarding world's magic beckons for your exploration!

Hogwarts Legacy offers players the chance to step into the iconic realm of Harry Potter, where magic and adventure await. Spells, secrets, and adventure abound. Get ready to explore the iconic halls of Hogwarts and uncover the mysteries hidden within, but be prepared for a few surprises along the way.

Despite its initial setbacks, after several hours of gameplay and adjustments to settings, Hogwarts Legacy reveals itself as a promising experience, albeit with some areas that could be improved.

Some pros:
  • Magical Atmosphere, with familiar locations, spells, and creatures.
  • Provides an engaging and guided experience.
  • Substantial Game-play, hooked for hours.
  • Exploration at a relaxed pace.
    1. Uncover secrets, solve riddles.
    2. Breed and cultivate rare color variations of creatures.

Some cons:
  • Requires significant configuration adjustments, not plug-and-play.
  • Lack of Balance, with little risk of failure or death.
  • Deluxe Edition Perks, playstation vs pc.
  • No multiplayer or cooperative mode.
  • Side quests feels repetitive.
    1. Merlin's Challenges.
    2. Breeding Creatures.
    3. Too many of the same kind a side quests.
Noteworthy Mention:
  • Stunning visuals.
  • Great customization options.
  • Great potential, but missing something.
  • Contains Micro-transactions.
  • No DLCs.

While Hogwarts Legacy has its share of technical hiccups and balance issues, its enchanting atmosphere and depth of content make it a worthwhile experience for fans of the Harry Potter franchise. As the game continues to evolve, it has the potential to become a truly magical adventure.

Oceanic Survival: Thrive Amidst the Waves

Welcome aboard, adventurers! Prepare to set sail on a thrilling journey across the open ocean with Raft. Let's delve into the exciting world of survival, exploration, and creativity.

Raft immerses players in a harrowing tale of survival against the elements. Stranded on a tiny raft in the middle of the vast ocean, players must scavenge debris, build their floating sanctuary, and fend off hungry sharks to stay alive. With its unique blend of crafting, exploration, and cooperative gameplay, Raft offers an immersive experience that will keep you hooked for many hours.

While Raft provides a captivating survival experience, it may have its shortcomings. Before diving in, it's essential to note potential issues such as the slow-paced and uneventful nature of the game's early stages.

Some pros:
  • Regular Updates, Mods Availability.
  • Engaging Survival Mechanics.
  • Explore & Build with Friends.
  • Dynamic Crafting System.
    1. Diverse selection of tools.
    2. Wide variety of structures.

Some cons:
  • Repetitive Game-play, Gather & Rebuild.
  • Know for Occasional Glitches /Crashes.
  • Limited Single-Player Experience.
  • Lack of Endgame Content.
Noteworthy Mention:
  • Low cost, $/hour gameplay worth it.
  • Free from Micro-transactions.
  • No expensive DLCs.

In my opinion, Raft offers an engaging and immersive survival experience that is best enjoyed with friends. While it may have its flaws, such as occasional glitches and limited content in the early game, the thrill of exploration and the satisfaction of building your floating oasis make Raft a game worth diving into, I did find single player somewhat boring after a few hours.
