I made a new friend through this game. I don't even know when was it the last time I found someone that genuinely enjoy vidya and makes me feel joyful to play with them. It's crazy. We had plenty of fun playing Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

The game was decent. I just don't like the fact that I have to start from the very beginning to see different endings. Maybe create one save point somewhere in which I don't have to stress out about what option I need to take.

Bought this VN for 5$ and I deserve to be in prison for paying such a low price. I was completely blown away with numerous CG that this VN has to offer as well as few animation for each chapter. This Visual Novel is the very definition of the word "perfection".

This game was basically an attempt from BANDAI NAMCO to play around the idea of traditional DARK SOULS series that we know and put bunch of twist in it to make the game much more versatile and suited with the playstyle of every and each players. I have to say it is a complete success as I enjoyed every single hours that I already poured into this game.

Some of the added twist are such as:
You're able to change your character class ("code" as we called it in this game) throughout the game without without having any obligations to stick only into one, as well as having an AI partner fighting alongside you which makes the adventure in this game feel a little bit fun.

The storyline overall is fine. I mean it's nowhere near as good as NieR: Automata but it feels like you're watching this big budget anime series which is enjoyable enough for me at the very least


i suggest you get this game if you're new to the souls like genre and have no idea where to start. Having an AI partner fighting with you make this game a little bit more bearable and not that suffocating for casual player that are less familiar with this genre.

If you're familiar with DARK SOULS series, than please remember that this game is not like DARK SOULS as we know. There's a reason why BANDAI NAMCO make an entire new series with a completely different title. It's similar in some sorts of way but I say almost 80% of the game (gameplay mechanics, etc) are very much different. So make sure to keep that in mind.

Flawless. The control is a bit tricky at the beginning but after I got the hang of it, feels like I'm on top of the world. Plus, I love how each music are accompanied with its own story as well. Absolutely b e a u t i f u l

This game is genuinely amazing in terms of story. I bought this game without knowing what it's about. I literally have no idea that there's "visual novel" element in this game. The only reason why I decided to pick it up because I have few dollars left to spend in my account and I heard some good words about the series so why not?

The game overall is pretty good. The only thing I'm unsatisfied with is that the game always throw something new towards the player to learn during case trial up until either chapter 3 or 4. I'm already struggling in puzzling the evidence for the case so it's kinda annoying when the game asked me to do something "new".

The way story for each cases played out was Ok. I believed there's still few holes in explanation as well but regardless, I think it's sufficient enough in saying which one among the students is the murderer.

Little backstory.
I was on my 4 weeks semester break and felt super ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bored as having no idea about what to do. Hanging out with friends ain't my sort of stuff. After watching multiple anime for few days and played VN for a while I started to wanted to play video game that have "fast paced" sorts of element? So I decided to go through my dusty steam library and there I found the old gem that I bought last 2 years. Played this game before but I got frustrated with this game because of few reasons. Contemplated about it for a while, I decided to gave this game another go.

Experience.
Well, simply said, this game was pretty much fun because of the "arcady" sort of feeling. I mean, you ain't playing this tryhard "shooting simulator" or any other random call of duty title. If you asked me to describe it properly, If John Wick have a proper video game series, this is what it would be. The slow mo cam particularly was so much fun and satisfying. The thing that I hate about this game is because of how dumb is the walking mechanic of the character in this game. To add more, This game kinda didn't include enough info to the players such as what is the sight on/off toggle?, how do you get over the vault?. All of this ♥♥♥♥, I need to search the answer through google which is kind of frustrating honestly. Another thing that I like to point out is that the overall game would only take around 10-11 hours (without completing the side task) to be finished. Not gonna lie I was surprised to find out this title only take around those numbers to be complete but hey, It's not particularly a bad thing. I think in that 10 hours, it's already enough to tell us the story of Mr. Max Payne.

Enough with all those "bad" stuff that I pointed out. What I love about this game is the character of Max himself. The way he having thoughts and Inner Monologue with another part of himself is just brilliant, I would say it's definitely enhance the story experience of this game. Pull this feature out and I bet this game going to be super dry and dull. Other than that, OST was also amazing.

Well. Multiplayer is completely dead. What this game has to offer is the story of 48 y/o disorganized cop that are trying to escape from the past that haunt him. It offers a great action pack tale to the players but I still think that y'all should wait for the sale before buying this game.

I've played numbers of VN but so far I think this one is the most exhausted one. What have I learned from this VN is that no matter how horny you are, It is important for you to communicate with them (the girls) and gain their trust towards you.
TL;DR if you are an introvert like me, than we just gonna rotten irl without any girl to comfort us on our side

Overall, This VN was actually pretty good. I mean the story is pretty generic just like any other Romance VN that focus on highschool protagonist. But what makes it not boring is the way of the story flow and also the 18+ patch is free on the dev website
