This game is extremely mediocre. I don't want to say it's bad, but I'd really rather play Path of Exile or a similar game without the ridiculously steep 25 dollar price tag. My hopes are that as I keep playing, I'll discover something magical that's enticing all the positive reviewers, but I doubt it. The lack of any tutorial or guide is also very disappointing. I know that people write off a lot when they talk about Early Access games, but honestly this game feels like a finished game that's just very shallow.

Often it can be hard to judge a game when from the trailers and top reviews alone, but I assure you that this game is not one to pass on. I definitely think it is the best indie game of the year and it is a truly beautiful experience.

It's very competitive, and the learning curve is steep. Don't expect to be good right away. The first few hours aren't that great, but as you get better the game gets way more enjoyable. The combat is really good, but exploits are rampant. The actual community is pretty rough, so I'd recommend just going on duel servers or FFA servers with duels.
