I don't know that I can consider recommending this game personally. I'm probably gonna get the barrage of "git gud" reactions to my post but after playing this game for ~16 hours I can honesty say I've never seen a an action game with a more inconsistent balance of difficulty across levels/boss fights. All of this culminates to a fight where Game Science does something I've never seen, mid-boss fight, unskippable cutscenese which DEAL DAMAGE. You can die from a cutscene...Its egregious. I wish this fight would've occurred within the first ~2 hours of the game as then I'd have been able to refund but oh well.

Through and through a great experience. Might be Bethesda's best work yet

Grind is decent, lots of content for new people, can get stale over time for people who invest long term. overall unique feeling game with really good shooter mechanics

I've been able to play in some fashion, every Call of Duty game since COD4. I think that this game in no way could ever be as good as any COD game from COD4 to BO2. That being said, I do feel that this game isn't too bad. I personally havent had any optimization issues, although I only have 1 hour played. I am not a fan of P2P servers, but I havent had any lag issues yet. While I wouldn't say that this game is spectacular, compared the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that was the last 3 years of call of duty, it isn't that bad, probably the best COD game since BO2. That being said, I currently am undecided on buying this game, however that may change depending on what changes the developers make between now and launch.

I'd like to spend a minute talking about the guns/maps. I think that the weapons feel pretty good and I don't believe that the damage is an issue, maybe the range though. Overall the maps are ok, except for Aachen, that map is terrible, I don't know how they can fix it other than remove it entirely. The division system feels like a downgrade from create a class, but I wouldn't say it is bad. I think that if this was a call of duty game in general people would like it more, but I still don't think it would be anything special.

I would like to mention that I feel that a lot of the things people complain about with regards to realism are a bit ridiculous, for example the whole issue with a red dot sight. There was one in WaW, and even battlefield 1 has some thing similar to it. I think that people will try and find anything they can to hate about it, and while I am not opposed to people expressing hate about this game, I believe that you should at least have a valid reason.
