I had no idea what to expect from this game. But it is absolutely beautiful and brilliant in its simplicity. A true hidden gem.

I find it difficult to give this demo a positive review. I did like it for what it was, but it wasn't what I would have hoped. I really thought this was going to be SnowRunner, with the ability to build roads. But it just isn't. The driving realism has been reduced in favor of an easier driving model and controls, which I think is less fun. I haven't played Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, but I have a feeling the controls are more like that than SnowRunner.

I did like the crane controls. They felt intuitively designed for mouse and keyboard. Also, I encountered no bugs. Performance was mid, on a 2080 with the high preset. Don't have a exact number but it felt around 40-50 FPS range, with DLSS on.

As it is now, I will not buy it on launch because I don't think the fundamental gameplay of the game is going to change to be more like SnowRunner.
