Early Access Review
I have to be honest. I am not enjoying this game at all. I tried playing with a mouse and Xbox 1 controller so far and I just can't get comfortable playing it flight wise. I will try my HOTAS setup next but I'm not holding my breath. Even with the customization of the controls it still doesn't feel comfortable to play. It is an intriguing game and I'm not going to bash it. I think it has promise. I'm just not enjoying trying to get the controls where I want them.

I love this game! However, it is definitely too short. It is a shame that there is not more DLC. It's cheap now and definitely a must have for your FPS library. This is the game I was hoping for from when I played the first XCOM.

This game is mind numbing. Once you get so a certain point it becomes second nature and it's alot of fun IF you are into these types of games. The neutonian physics keeps it a challenge.

Absolute classic and a must have for any Star Wars fan. The character progression is smooth and fun. I would say the story line can lag at times but there is plenty of action to keep you busy.

Still a great game and one of my crack rocks. Plenty of action and overall replayability.

I love this game. It real makes you think and gets you back to the time of typed in commands and even a bit of coding. Worth the price.

First of all, too many people are stuck on the SC:2 sequel idea. This is set in a parallel universe to the the original series. The idea was to bring the game play and fun of the original game forward without stepping on the original story. If people can get over that they can actually enjoy the game for what it is.
As for this incarnation, I have enjoyed it, resource gathering can be challenging but, with the ability to mod this game you can basically remove the parts that annoy you and focus on those that you enjoy. There are a lot of things you can do in modding to keep this game going.
The gameplay is decent, but the stories are slow and beyond a few voice sequences, the voice acting does off after the original storyline. The storylines are a bit short at times.
Combat is fun and the arena slowly shrinks forcing combat to end instead of labouring on endlessly.
The graphics are on par for what the game is and it opens it up to a greater audience who may not be running power rigs.
Try the game for what it is and you may just like it. With all the possibilities available for this game, I see it hanging around a while.

With the Earth Rising series complete, now is the time to try it out.

I like this game. I hate the developers for ending it on a screwed up note. The puzzles are decent, the exploration is OK and the scenery is truly unique. It's time for some DLC or MOD tools for this game. It still has alot of potential for expansion.
