This game is pretty good.

This game is amazing and pretty much everything I could want out of a VN-style game. I love, or love to hate, pretty much all of the characters, the gameplay is good and a nice break from the shenanigans, the writing and scenarios are all really fun and it's all very masterfully put together. The only negative I can think of is that at a point the combat sequences become super easy once you figure out how to minmax damage and have enough upgrades in but at that point I'm invested into the story more than the gameplay.

Also Tsubasa is best girl.

This game definitely deserves way more eyes on it. Moments like this make me wish I was some kind of influencer or something so that I can help promote this game more.

Basically though, this game is awesome. The actual gameplay parts are really simple and comfy, just making coffee and somewhat optionally messing around with flowers and such outside. This blends with the story perfectly somehow despite being very well.. not comfy. The writing really perfectly wraps it all together in such an awesome package. Just keep in mind that it is more of a story game than a stardew/manager game. It's probably closer to Va-11-Hall-A than other stuff.

This game is everything a modern Jet Set Radio needs to be and should be. The music selection is absolutely on point and the actual gameplay perfectly captures what makes JSR so fun to play. The worst part of it is that with Sega officially trying to bring back JSR, I'm a bit worried that this game will be better than the official redo of the series.

I genuinely really want to enjoy this game and have fun with my friends that do play it but the performance is unplayable for me, literally. I'm on average hitting about 10fps with moments where it is dropping even lower or, if im lucky, spiking up to like 30. It's especially worse when the ship is moving. I have a Ryzen 5 2600, GTX1660, and about 32GB of spare RAM so my performance should ideally be hitting at least 30fps.

Otherwise the game genuinely seems really fun and has enough differences from games like Raft to set it apart and be a fun time. My only problems with the gameplay itself is that death can be a bit frustrating and I'm not sure if there are ways to toggle off losing stuff on respawn. Another is that it's a bit annoying having to refill all of my survival needs when I die, but it at least makes sense to prevent death being used as a replacement for the actual survival mechanics.

So far, it's better than it should be. It's a game that plays similiar to the modern RE Remake games, such at RE2, that does it's own thing really well. While the rest of the game is good, I probably spent more time trying on and finding new clothes than I should have.

For the actual gameplay, it feels good and and pretty fluid but still can be rather hard in parts. It usually doesn't feel too fair with a few moments that are a bit annoying (the last defense section seeming impossible if you don't realize that you need to manage the generators during the defense part itself!) but overall it's all good and well balanced. The guns even feel really good to shoot, especially the shotgun.

This game is weird. The gameplay feels good but the difficulty hits you like a truck and once you learn the game the difficulty curve stagnates. It's still fun but I can see it getting boring in the long term just from a competitive perspective. That said it is much better than I expected from a Spike Chunsoft game. The balance is also pretty hilarious where some characters like Toppo and Kefla have an amazing value for their "price". The only individuality the charaters really have are stat and skill adjustments. Would be nice if they had more of a unique moveset but we have proper fighters like FighterZ for that.

The story stuff is also fine. The difficulty of it is literally all over the place with some fights being easy as hell with others right after actually being difficult. The menus for the game are also trash. They are slow as hell and has so many cut to white transitions back to back that it gave me a headache. The best part of the game is that it's an anime arena fighter but it's imo entirely being held up by the Dragonball IP and their dedication to keeping the characters.

This is the peak of Fromsoft so far. The weapons, environments, enemies and gameplay are all amazing. The performance is fine and is still better than DS1 but yeah. Amazing DLC that makes an already amazing game better.
