Fun "soulslike".
Combat can be a bit basic but movement is fun. I always enjoy movement shenanigans and this game has them.
Dialogue is well written and acted

Plenty of saves and shortcuts to reduce frustration.

I wish this game had done better so that we'd get more.

I got my copy of Starfield with the purchase of my AMD GPU.
I put off playing it for a long while because
A) I wasn't that interested in a Bethesda RPG
B) I had other games to play

I finally decide to play it and run into crashes. Constantly. Looking online there are all sorts of tips. So now I've disabled Shadows completely, and turned down other settings. I still get crashes but sometimes I can eek out an hour straight of playing.

That's just the tech side.
The game is boring. Mission organization is a disaster (why can't I organize them by location?). Garbage everywhere to pickup (I've been told that this is a staple of Bethesda RPGs but WHY?) drowning out the useful things to pick up. Character animations are super weird, especially if you start any conversation with an NPC outside of directly in front of them. Some missions are just broken because I can't interact with an NPC.
The game is just a mess. I played Cyberpunk 2077 AT LAUNCH on PC and didn't run into as many problems with it as I have with Starfield years after release.

I'm going to finish this game because I just am. But I'm going to spend as little time with all its systems as I can get away with.

Love the combat.

I love this game. I love this game on my Steam Deck. It's the perfect game to listen to a book/podcast to.

I thought this was a beautiful game! Beautiful music that I continue to listen to outside of the game.
It's not a super challenging game but it is a great experience.

First of all - this runs beautifully on the SteamDeck.
I enjoyed my time with this game.

Really enjoyed this game. While some of the dialogue delivery could get a little annoying it never got in the way of a great time pew pewing bad guys.
Did you like Jedi Starfighter back on the PS2? This is the game for you.

Loved this game when I played it on the PS2. Bought the soundtrack immediately after playing it then. Still love this game today. Still love the soundtrack.

I haven't won a match yet. I got real close one time. I've had a blast every round so far. There are a few modes that need some tweaking to make them more enjoyable but this game is great.
If you want to play a game with friends that won't leave you angry at the end of the night - this is the one.
