So first off... I don't like extraction shooters. I hate the "gear fear" they bring as all of the progress can be lost by a blink of an eye. That's what I feared Arc Raiders would be when I play it. I did not really want play Arc Raiders but looking at the Reviews and it being nominated in Game Awards. It got me curious a bit more, I said to myself: "I can't jude a game when I never played it" so I decided to buy it on sale. I opened it for the first time. Played the tutorial and went into my first ever match. I met a fellow Raider that was so nice he clinged to me like a tick the entire game and then we extracted together. That's what changed my opinion about the game. There are some truly crazy moments that happen in almost every match. The clutch situations that also happen quite commonly is a sort of an adrenaline that keeps making me want to play this game more and more. It got ot a point where in real life I check the Map Events to plan my Night Raid or Harvester scavenging. The graphics are also really beautiful and the size of the game is really low aswell. Overall this is one of the best games I played and it changed my opinion about Extraction Shooters. Also the gear fear in this game is totally a thing. But seing how casual this game can be played and how quickly you can get the same if not better loot back is really appealing to me.


So I'm gonna make a grading system here from 1-5 based on my own experience

Overall I would give this game a rating of 4,8/5

What could get improved is the movement because at times its a bit "sluiggish" from time to time. And what definitely needs a bit of a rework is the SKILL TREE. Like it's a really good thing to work up on, but most of the perks you don't really see any differences. Like the search noises perk sounds good but in reality its maybe like -1db quieter. Or stamina recovery when walking only works when you are walking with the slow walk not your default walking when you hold W but when you toggle the walking through the keybind.

Despite not being the best battlefield in the franchise I do love it! It had a rough launch but over time through updates its very playable now.

Absolutely beautiful game! The combat, movement, story, progression, graphics, sound design... JUST PURE PERFECTION! Definitely worth the price they're asking for!
