It's been a long time since I played this game but it still stands out in my memory! It gets you super emotionally invested, the art and soundtrack are perfection, and the gameplay is unique and fun

This game and its residents have my heart! An adorable and quirky woodland adventure with hilarious writing, and a cosy balance between easy gameplay and fun exploration. I got 5 hours out of it including achievements and loved every minute, and I was happy with the value for money since I managed to pick it up in a half price sale but this may be a downside for others

Brilliant unique roguelike with incredible replayability. Really shines in multiplayer. Love the art and lore and the music is outstanding (it's even in my Spotify replay 😂)

Finished this years ago and it's still one of my top 4 favourite games. When I say I BALLED at the unforgettable story (and then for ages couldn't listen to the soundtrack in public because it made me cry every time lmao)

Completely fell in love with the characters, music, and ever-changing setting. Some very relatable and thought-provoking themes - more so than the first game, so I'd actually recommend giving this a go even if you didn't like the original LiS.

Oh how I'd love to play it for the first time again <3

Happily addicted to ye olde homestead simulator

One of my favourite games of all time. Be prepared to get uncontrollably emotionally invested (and then spend countless hours learning about the lore)!! Gameplay is super fun, especially the unique system of avoiding combat. Brilliant humour. I don't think there's a single song in the soundtrack I don't adore. Although you need to be really specific in your choices to get the multiple endings, which can feel limiting, the price is incredible for the amount of content

My most played Steam game by far, for good reason. So much content it feels endless! Recommend to those who liked Harvest moon, who are looking for a cosy game with lovable characters, or who find a sort of comfort in repetitive games (daily crop watering, grinding to reach the bottom of the mine, patiently levelling up your fishing skill, etc). It's great fun both solo and co-op - easy to get engrossed and hard to put down!
