Why does this game exist?

Since my last review of this met an unfortunate end, I'll make this one short and sweet.

Do you like Touhou and/or the shmup genre? Do you like character variety and rewards for clearing stages? Do you like parading cats that make things explodes and leave behnd rainbow trails? If you've answered yes, why don't you own this game already? It's free, though flawed in places, it's pretty great. Go on and click that play button, you won't regret it.

I walked into this expecting some crudely made joke of a game. What I found instead, however, was a charming little gem of a game that was worth more than its 'price' in my opinion. I'd honestly like to see more games like this that poke fun at themselves and others and still wind up being an enjoyable experience.
My only complaint would have to be the faulty controls in the Cyber Pony segment. Maaaaybe it was just on my end, but it could still be looked at.
